Short Biography:
I am currently a Big Data Engineer. I have been a postdoctoral researcher with the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tampere, Finland under the supervision of Professor Jyrki Nummenmaa and Professor Jaakko Peltonen. I received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Aalto University, Finland under the supervision of Professor Mario Di Francesco. I have been a visiting researcher at the Next Generation Networks Group with the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA from November 2015 to March 2016. In September 2010, I was awarded a Korean Government Global IT Scholarship for my graduate study with the Ubiquitous Computing Lab. at Kyung Hee University, South Korea under the supervision of Professor Sungyoung Lee, where I received the M.Sc. in Computer Engineering degree in the Dept. of Computer Engineering in 2012. I received the B.Sc. in Information Technology degree at University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU–HCM), Vietnam.

Research Interest:
My research interests include: machine learning and data mining methods for data analytics, especially through big data analytics; big data analytics with emphasize on predictive modeling techniques and prediction in big consumer behavior data; frequent (common) and distinguishing (contrast) sequential pattern mining; software design principles for large scale distributed environment. I am also interested in Big Data and Artificial Intelligent (AI).
