who am i? day 2: Storyboarding

organize ideas & create a storyboard:

1. Your Homework is to create a 6 box storyboard of your ideas

2. View the storyboard sample here.

3. Either print, or create your own storyboard by folding paper in 6 squares.

4. Think about our theme "Who am I?"

5. On your storyboard, the first box and the last box are the "CRUST" and should open and close your current life story.

6. Box 2-3 should discuss your past.

7. Box 4-5 should discuss your present.

8. The point of a storyboard is simply to document ideas and scenes as you see them in your head. Write down ideas, sketch scenes, think about music, think about narration and voiceover, think about b-roll.

9. You can break down more scenes for each box later, but for now try to vision plan from start to end your own life story using your homework brainstorm from yesterday.

10. When you are done get a clean, well lit photo of your storyboard in LANDSCAPE mode.

11. Rename the file to First Name, Last Name, Period, Project Title and upload to the folder.
