Reflect: Think about the following
What is your passion in life?
What are your goals and dreams?
Who do you look up to and why?
Do you have any rolemodels, if so who and why?
What are you doing to achieve your goals and dreams?
How do you document or "capture" what you do in your life?
What kind of technology do you have, do you use it?
Do you talk with anybody about your life?
What is your opinion and usage of social media?
If somebody interviewed you about your passions, what would they say?
If somebody interviewed your about your work ethic, what would they say?
If somebody asked you about school, what would be your response?
If somebody asked you about athletics what would you say?
If somebody asked you if music was important, what would you say and why?
If somebody were to ask you to tell the story of your life, how would you accomplish that?
Create: a List of stuff
Your Homework is to create a list of "stuff."
Open a google doc (or notes, or write it down, or whatever you do to document stuff).
Write down anything that comes to mind after your reflection.
Go back and look at the last question in the reflection "If somebody were to ask you to tell the story of your life, how would you accomplish that?" write down this question, then answer it.
Think about the process of digital storytelling.
Have you ever told a story in film or with animation or timelapse?
Your homework is to have a written down solid list of ideas about the topic "who am i."
This is the first step in writing the story of ourselves.
If you wrote on paper then get a clean, well lit photo of your list in LANDSCAPE mode.
If you did your assignment in google docs then first hit the "SHARE" button at the top right of your screen to make sure your document is "Lahainaluna Complex" instead of "Restricted." After you have shared your document go to the top left of your screen and hit "FILE" > "MOVE" > the at the top of that popout window go back to your google drive location, then back one more step till you see "SHARED WITH ME" You will select the shared with me location then you will see the folder "DAY 1."
You can also download or take a picture of your google doc and simply upload to the folder for today.
If your file is digital then rename the file to First Name, Last Name, Period, Project Title.
Upload or Move your file to the upload folder for today by either dragging your file into the folder window OR hitting the "+" icon then selecting "UPLOAD FILE."
