1 pound lean ground pork
1 small onion chopped
2 to 3 garlic cloves
2 cups coarsely chopped tomatoes
1 cup of chicken broth
Crushed Red Chili Flakes
OPTION: Kalamata Olives
Brown ground pork in a little olive oil.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Saute until onions are tender. Add the chopped tomatoes, dried basil, Chili Flakes, rosemary and chicken broth. Add olives if using. Season with salt and Pepper , cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
Just before serving add the chopped basil. Serve over your favourite pasta shape.
