June 22-25, 2011

The 15th Biennial Reunion of

The Hubbell Family Historical Society

Welcome to Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah, home of Bonneville Salt Flats, fry sauce, sea monkeys, green jello and powdery snow.

Oh yes, families -

we're BIG on families!

This reunion will be held where many genealogists can only dream about visiting - Salt Lake City!

The Family History Library contains a massive archive of genealogical information for every county in the United States and many foreign countries, especially in Europe. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has collected this treasure trove of county, state, federal and church records and make them available through the library.

The Salt Lake Plaza Hotel at Temple Square will be our Reunion Central.

Located across from Temple Square, it is right next door to the Family History Library and across the street from the TRAX station. Mini lectures about the use of the library and a tour of the facility will be available so you can find your way around. If you know the library already, come early and spend time there. It is open 8:00 AM -5:00 PM Monday and Saturday, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM Tuesday – Friday. Plan to stay a few extra days to return to the library before or after the reunion. The Plaza will honor the same special reunion rates.

It’s not all genealogy. Salt Lake City is an international city. The host city of the 2002 Winter Games and home of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Mormons, the city is easy to explore and tourist friendly. We’ll have many exciting adventures waiting for you – no matter your budget.
