Due to a 3 way tie among Silver City, Grimsby and West Essex, head to head tiebreakers were applied.

Play-Offs:

With New London downing Silver City, Tigers dropped from third spot to fourth and will play away to Golden Gates in the first play-off.  The other game, will see West Essex visit ThunderCats.

John O’K will referee the Tigers at Gates.  Mark will referee Pirates at ThunderCats.

Obviously, with the League pretty much inactive recently, I would like to get the post season games cleared up as quickly as possible.  Therefore, if all four teams involved can get there plans to John and Mark by the 30 May, both referees will be in a position to complete the matches by June 7.

Draft Order

Despite New London, ‘losing’ out to Lincoln in the first pick derby, unless Mike Fox appears out of nowhere [I guess unlikely], Allen will still have that first pick in the Draft.  Lincoln will pick at #11, and the other non-active team, Seattle, will select at #12.

Thank you all for your support.  Cris

All,

As some of you know, I've asked Cris and Marty to jointly take over running the league.  I am no longer able to give it the time needed to keep things moving along and don't want to be cause of further delays as I have been at times in the last two years since I changed job and made the move to Houston.

I will continue to run my team and support Cris and Marty in any way they need it.  I appreciate them being willing to take over and I know that the league will be in good hands.

Thanks for the support I've had from all of you over many years now, it's been fun.

Cheers,
Cliff.

If the League had a Hall of Fame we all know who the first person to be enshrined would be.

Although I am no longer a member of the league I would like to thank Cliff for keeping the league going
for near on 20 years. Indeed it was the friendship and support of the league (and especially Cliff) which
helped me get thru several dark periods over the last 15 years.

Enjoy your retirement and maybe not having to do two jobs will see the Saints finally win the Bowl!

Cheers

Paul
