Mango Lime Margaritas (Virgin or Alcoholic)

3 oz. silver tequila
2 oz. triple sec (I like to use Cointreau)
3/4 cup mango puree (2 fresh mangoes)
1/2 cup ice
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 - 2 tablespoons berry sugar, if required
Flaked sea salt + granulated sugar, to rim glasses
Slices of lime, to garnish


Place the tequila, triple sec, mango puree, ice, lime juice and sugar, if using, in a large, heavy duty blender. Blend to a smooth, granita-like consistency.

Mix the sugar and salt in a shallow plate. Moisten the edges of margarita glasses, and rim glasses with the sugar-salt mixture.

Pour margaritas into the prepared glasses, and garnish with a slice of lime.
