BLACK AND RED SCARE
HORDE SPIES: ARE THEY AMONG US?
Among the usual internal and external quarrels a combination of the two now arises for Alliance. Persons of, traditionally, Alliance races now turn more and more to our enemies - the Horde.
Reports of sightings of the Horde supporters who are humans and dwarves now become more and more common. The Royal Intelligence Agency has created a committee dedicated to this problem. Representatives of the country's secret service believe it's one of the greatest issues when it comes to disloyalty in our faction. An RIA officer, who will remain unnamed, says the spies are trained at special underground camps in places such as Barrens and Silverpine Forest.
"The Horde brainwashes these people into becoming slaves who do not live or think for themselves. An analogy would be a gnome machine, a robot if you will, blindly working on a task it was programmed to complete. That's the danger of this whole thing."
The spies are not trained to be assassins or fighters, they are trained to be invisible. Their job is to blend with the crowds, collect information about army positions and movements, conversations, public mood, et cetera.
"Recognizing the spies is extremely easy. If you see one you need to immediately alarm everyone in the area" the RIA officer says. "They are usually ((low level)), wear very simple clothing, rarely cary a weapon with them, and never speak. They will mostly just stay to the side and watch an event, or simply listen to what the people have to say. Then they report back to their masters... Sometimes the information they bring to our enemies costs many lives and oftentimes leads to our defeat."
In the past two months Horde has used information brought to them by spies repeatedly to distract our troops and then invade a different territory, to undermine assaults on their cities, and to prevent large Alliance forces from being assembled.
"This problem has grown far beyond the reach of our institution," says an SCPD (Stormwind City Police Department) boss, "This is a job for RIA if they can handle it. But I doubt it. The way to go is to try to increase patriotism within our kids."
One way or another, many things should not be discussed on the streets nowadays. We need less heroic screams in town squares and more planned and organized preparations for possible raids and assaults on Horde.
Long live Alliance!
Long live the King!
