"A unique eatery "

, Our restaurant is located 5 miles from the center of  Asheville, North Carolina. A place to enjoy the atmosphere of the Blue Ridge mountains and some of the freshest cooking available.

To keep this on a personal note, My wife, Deb and I run the place.   In 2004, we got very ambitious and renovated a 1930's service station and country store into what is now The Stone House Market. (And yes, the restroom is back of the building, no key required.)The building is constructed completely out of NC river rock, concrete and wood,which makes it a very interesting place to dine. Our "cozy" inside dining room and glassed in front porch seats around 30.

 Our goal is to bring fresh new tastes and attentive friendly service to our guests. Surrounded by an abundance of local farms, we are able to search and serve local ingredients. Our excellent connection with our coastal venders gives us an opportunity to provide some of the freshest seafood available.

The menu stays seasonal and changes on a weekly basis. The menu is assembled during the week and printed on a large chalkboard hanging on the wall in our dining room. The Menu consists of 3 or 4 appetizers, 5 to 8 entree's; Meats, Pasta, Fish, and 1 or 2 desserts. Vegetarian choice offered on request.
 
The wine and beer offered changes just like our menu. Deb is the wine list, offering a few choices of nice drinkable reds,whites and sparkling wines for your enjoyment.
 
All I can say Deb wears all the hats in the front of the house and I wear all in the back. So if you are looking for a "Unique" experence with time to dine and relax, then come have dinner with us.

We are presently serving dinner beginning at 6pm, Thursday ,Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. We reserve Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for your private functions and my chef dinners.
