We started search work with our collies in July 2001, and have bred collies successful in tracking/man-trailing, and cadaver search work. "Why collies," you ask? Well, besides being one of the most beautiful of all canine breeds, the collie is the ultimate canine companion- devoted to the family, sweet-tempered, wonderful with children, intelligent, loyal and truly giving.
Our goal is to breed a beautiful, structurally sound, "willing" dog, excellent in genetic health.
We would hope that we could produce a dog, that if necessary, would be able to be a healthy working dog: whether as a service dog, therapy dog, herding dog or search and rescue dog.

Health/Genetic Information
Besides the CERF exams, all dogs 2 years and over will have the hips certified by OFA. None of our dogs are thyroid supplemented, and all tested dogs have been Thyroid Normal (MSU).
The notation "N/E" after a dog's name denotes "normal eyes" or free from collie eye anomaly (CEA). "N/C" denotes a "normal-eyed non-carrier".
Eye Checks
All puppies and adults are routinely screened for CEA (Collie Eye Anomaly), PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), and other ocular disorders by a board certified ophthalmologist. Our breeding collies will be genetically tested for CEA, MDR-1, DM and CN.
Most of our puppies are "normal eyed" (CEA-free) and some may be non-carriers.
