Visit the Location of The Shadow in the Gallery

There is good news for anyone who would like to visit the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum: unlike in Alexander Croall's day, you don't have to arrive by horse and carriage
.  There are, however, many other ways to come to the Smith, which is conveniently located just a short walk from Stirling City Centre.

Admission to the Stirling Smith is free of charge, and free on-site car parking is also provided.  If you are driving to the Smith from outside Stirling, a
t Junction 10 on the M9, follow the signs to Stirling Town Centre.  Turn right past two schools, along Raploch Road.   Turn left into Dumbarton Road at the roundabout, and the Stirling Smith is the second building on the left.  Alternatively, use the interactive Google Map below for directions on how to get there from any location in Britain.

If you prefer to walk, the Stirling Smith is only 200 yards past the Albert Hall on Dumbarton Road, and around 500 yards if walking from the City Centre.  If arriving by train, the Smith is only a short walk away from Stirling Railway Station - information is available from station staff, or by using the Google Map below.
