We are so very pleased to provide The Seahorse as a venue for weddings, receptions, events, parties and shows! The property is well suited to accommodate large groups, vendors and event equipment with adequate parking space for over 100 vehicles! We have been so thrilled to host an increasing number of amazing wedding ceremonies and receptions this year.

During the Prime Rental Season, events must be booked during a weekly rental reservation. Unfortunately, events can not be held on Saturdays during the Summer.

During the Spring, Fall and Winter months, a 3-night minimum stay is required and your Reservation must allow for at least one full day/night following the Event (ex: No Sunday check-out following Saturday Events). Please see the Rate Information page for standard nightly rental charges associated with all reservations.

Horse turn-out can be arranged for a small additional fee. Please inquire with our Property Manager regarding availability.

Event Fees are in addition to the rates published for the vacation rental. We understand that many details are still being ironed out in the week leading up to your event, so typically this Fee is due just 1-3 days prior to check-in.

The Event Fee provides the following additional services beyond standard rental accommodations and property amenities:
-Insurance coverage up to the specified number of guests.
-Scheduled viewing(s) for primary guests, wedding party members and vendors.
-Extra preparation and care of the property (landscaping and property set-up to suit your needs).
-Coordination with vendors supplying services at the property (providing electric circuits, water lines, etc).
-Assistance to vendors with set-up and removal of tents and rental equipment.
-Event staffing to assist with site traffic, event coordination, trash management and safety.
-Parking assistance and valet service for elderly or handicapped guests.

IMPORTANT: Events with over 50 guests must be planned as outdoor events. For these larger groups, the house may be used for critical personnel (families, wedding parties, vendors, etc) but a tent and outdoor toilet trailer must be secured by the renting party.

VENDORS: All licensed and insured service, product and equipment providers are welcome at The Seahorse. Just send us your list of vendors for review and we will work with them to arrange access and assistance as needed.

Some services can be provided internally by the members of your party. These details must be communicated with the Property Manager and incorporated into your Rental Agreement.
