|James, third Lord Strabane, born in 1633, succeeded his
father 1638, being then five years old; joined Sir Phelim
O'Neile against the parliamentary forces in July 1650, and
died, without issue, a Roman Catholic recusant at Ballyfatten, near Strabane, 16 June 1655, being drowned bathing
in the river Mourne, and was succeeded by his brother.
