1974 Plymouth Roadrunner “TRIBUTE”/”REPRODUCTION”

This 1974 Plymouth began life as a “Sebring Plus”, with the following options,( see fender and door VIN#’s.Engine: 318 V8 w/ 904 auto trans: Factory console w shifter, bucket seats, disc brakes, vinyl roof, heavy duty suspension, am-fm stereo radio, locking differential, and air conditioning.

A stock remanufactured 440 RB V8 engine w/ casting #2536430, was selected w the 66-72 10:1 compression ratio, stock hyd camshaft, electronic ignition, calibrated 800 cfm Edelbrock 4bl carb, , & chrome dress up kit, headers w/dual exhaust w/ high flow mufflers, crossover pipe,& resonator tips. 375hp/450 tork. Radiator is 4 core metal w/ 3 ½ gallon capacity, thermo clutch fan.

Auto trans remanufactured stock 727 w/ factory stall convertor, chrome pan , heavy duty driveshaft, differential is Chrysler 8 ½ w/ Eaton locker, w/ 2:73 gears, chrome cover. Road runner w hold first gear to 55mph!!!, this is a ‘highway’ cruiser, gas mileage almost at 15mpg ( mid grade fuel) @ 70mph: (1800 rpm!!!!!).

Suspension was completely replaced: idler arm, pitman arm, steering gear, hoses/lines, pump, ball joints, control arm bushings, ( “Energy Suspension bushings were used throughout vehicle”) tie rod ends, drag link,KYB and Max Air shocks used. Factory swaybars front/rear. HD rear springs w/ poly bushings.

Fuel tank replaced along w/ sending unit, (w/ 3/8” Big Block inlet/outlet+ steel lines), high output manual pump.

Electrical: NEW, “Painless” wiring harness used throughout the vehicle. Stock 60 amp Chrysler alternator. AM-FM Factory Chrysler stereo radio. Wiper & heater motors replaced. Halogen head lights.

Brakes: Factory Kelsey Hays disc brakes front, rear drum brakes, new power booster, master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, brake shoes/pads/ lines and hoses replaced.

Interior: Stock factory bucket seats, and rear bench re-covered in Chrysler material/pattern/black color. New heat foil barrier used on floor/ w/, new carpets and headliner. Factory instrument ‘sport instrument cluster’: 120mph odo, oil pressure, fuel level, amps, water temp, tach w/ “red shift light”, New rubber weatherstrips.

Exterior: Plum Purple 2 stage w/ clear coat, (undercarriage tone painted as well). Phoenix Graphics on power bulge hood, and wing spoiler. Rusted floor replaced by Goodmark panels, all other metal was rust free. Chrome wheels 15x7 front, 15x10 rear. New black v roof , Road Runner decal kit. Tinted windshield and polished stainless.

All components have been replaced w/ new or remanufactured items, right down to every nut/bolt. (all receipts have been retained). Road Runner comes w/ complete CD-R disc(s) factory repair, and parts manual.

This is the last year of the full size Plymouth “B” body with the 440 V8, the 1975-76 Road Runner was the “Aspen” bodied style w/ only a small block engine available.

Asking: $34,995 or OBO CASH!!! Have over $40K++ in parts and labor. You cannot build a MOPAR at today’s prices cheaper, and if this were a number’s matcher, the price would be: $100K.
