Pecan Pie

Crust:

All-Shortening Crust (half recipe)


Filling:

3 eggs

1 cup corn syrup

1 cup sugar

2 Tbsp melted butter

1 tsp vanilla

pinch of salt

1 cup pecans (I added another handful)


Beat 3 eggs. Stir in corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt.

Stir in pecans.

Pour into unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
