What are your administrative costs?

We are incredibly proud of our administrative policies.  All administrative costs were donated until we started to use PayPal.  Even though PayPal recognizes us as a 501(c)(3) charity, we still have to pay PayPal for their services.  Last year our administrative costs were less than 0.8% of our total donations.

Why should I help the People's Consultants - so many others exist!!!

Happily, many organizations have identified that water supply and sanitation is one of the most effective route to address poverty.  Dang, Matt Damon set up, and everyone loves Matt.  I can confidently state that the People's Consultants will use a greater percentage of your funds to directly aid the rural poor.  Last year less than 1% of our donations went to administrative costs.  More than 99% went to build rural water projects!  Also we are the oldest non-profit organization focused on water!  We've completed more than 700 projects.  But you gotta see one of our projects up close and personal to really understand.  I'd be happy to take you there.  Just drop me an e-mail at
