White Chocolate Cranberry Ice Cream

1 cup  cranberry sauce, whole berry or homemade*

1 can, 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk

8 oz. Cool Whip, thawed

1 cup white chocolate chips

Mix everything together in a large bowl with a lid or plastic freezable container.  Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.  Makes 8-10 servings.  Keep frozen.

*Cranberry Sauce

1 bag, 12 oz. fresh cranberries

1 cup sugar

3 T orange juice

1 T lemon juice

4 T water

Cook cranberries with the rest of ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally and keeping pan partially covered..  Cook until berries burst, about 15 minutes.   Stir with a whisk to help break down berries and thicken sauce.  Makes about 1 1/2 cups sauce
