Coeds get a lot of press, but adults are increasingly important constituencies in universities.  According to the Secretary of Education's Commission on the Future of Higher Education, 40% of higher education students are over the age of 25.  Many adults choose online education for the convenience, meaning that asynchronous tutorials, websites and other learning media are staples of their continuing education.

How do we design learning media that match adult needs?
