Hands down a favorite of ours. This amazing slow cooker meal makes its own broth to dip these mouthwatering sandwiches in.
Slow Cooker Italian Drip Beef Sandwiches
-1 5lb rump roast
-3 cans of beef broth
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon pepper
-1 teaspoon dried oregano
-1 teaspoon dried basil
-1 teaspoon onion salt
-1 teaspoon dried parsley
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-2 .7oz. packages dry Italian dressing mix
Place the rump roast in the slow cooker.
Combine all other ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Pour over meat in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. 1 hour before serving take meat out and shred with forks, then return to slow cooker for the last hour.
This is delicious served on hoagie sandwich rolls, topped with sautéed green peppers and onions with a side of au jus from the cooking process.
