I want you always to be happy with your purchase. Any in-stock box can be returned, in original condition, no questions asked, within 30 days for a refund or exchange. And, if you EVER have a problem with your box you can return it and I will fix it, no charge. (Of course, excluding the usual, abuse, neglect, flood, fire, you know the drill.) CARE

All fine woodwork should be displayed away from direct sunlight. Buffing with a clean soft cloth will remove handling marks and dust when needed. At some point you may want to add some quality paste wax to bring back its original luster.

Most of my boxes are finished with shellac and protected by a hard carnauba containing wax. Shellac’s solvent is alcohol, so you should avoid placing that glass of vodka on it (perish the thought!). That aside, remember, for centuries the finest musical instruments have been protected with shellac. It is a superb non-toxic finish that shows the wood well and protects.
