My Inspiration

My Inspiration As A Poet
by Charles E S Fairey

When the Birds Of Rhiannon sing
Another world they do bring,
Caer Sidi is where I travel
Where starry wisdom I unravel.

A netherworld tower
Where I stay hour after hour,
At the top of the World Tree
Where everything I can see.

When it is the end of my inspiration
I feel a falling sensation,
And see the three blackbirds
Who sing out heavenly words.

When I'm back in earth time
I document my knowledge in rhyme,
Waiting for another reader
To become a mystical hearer.
