The Enchantress

The Enchantress
by Charles E S Fairey

A beautiful and beckoning spirit
Delves deep in forest green,
Enticing hand and entrancing eye
Standing next to marker stone
Where on moonlit night she is often seen.

From an age before visitors own
With flowing hair and glowing shawl,
A Celtic enchanting dream
Waiting and watching throughout time
For another to worship at her call,
And join her in the mysteries
That she keeps within her mythic heart.

Enticing hand and entrancing eye
“Come join me, and all you shall see”.
