Purpose:
To define the procedures and instructions for the 3M Personal Computer Club –
Definitions:
3M Club – 3M organization that manages a variety of individual sports and activity organizations
PCC - Personal Computer Club
SIG - Special Interest Group provides for discussion and presentations focused on specific topics of interest.
Scope:
This document covers the process used to manage the Macintosh Special Interest Group duties of the 3M Personal Computer Club.
Process:
The MacIntosh SIG provides an informal, focused setting for those interested in information and applications of the Macintosh computer, iPad tablet, iPhone and related technologies. This process includes discussions, presentations, demonstrations, and guest speakers.
Procedures:
Organize monthly SIG meetings.
Send notifications to group
Hold monthly meetings
Create or coordinate meeting presentations
Provide group awareness of new technology, product discounts, application information, tutorials, and problem solutions.
Interface with external vendors / representatives.
Provide meeting summary to PCC Board.
Request funds for SIG from PCC as necessary.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Attend monthly PCC board meeting.
Schedule Mac SIG meetings.
Create agenda for Mac SIG.
Send out communications to Mac SIG members.
Maintain Mac SIG members list.
Request funds for special events or supplies as needed
