Purpose:

To define the procedures and instructions for the 3M Personal Computer Club –


Definitions:

3M Club – 3M organization that manages a variety of individual sports and activity organizations

PCC - Personal Computer Club


Scope:

This document covers the process used to manage the duties of the 3M Personal Computer Club.


Process:

Keep the PCC Club going. Do whatever is needed.


Procedures:


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Attend monthly PCC board meeting

  • Monthly eBytes Editor

    • Must seek out information (web, magazines, very little from members, etc.)

    • Format information

    • Publish an edition each month

    • I spend about a total of 2-3 hours a month on this

    • HTML experience

  • Website and Community Administrator

    • Bother people to get information for site with phone or e-mail (1 hour a month)

    • Update general and MAC SIG meeting info (1 hour a month)

    • Update and format (PDF) slides and handouts from meetings (1 hour a month)

    • Update other content ( 1 hour a month)

    • Publish to themining-pcc web sites (1 hour a month)

    • HTML experience

  • General Meetings Work

    • Update PCC club slides and Introduce main speaker (1 hour a month)

  • Present at general meetings

    • Create presentation sides and handouts for general meeting (about 8-11 times a year - 3-20 hours each presentation)

  • Answer phone/e-mail questions and Web site Contact Us

    • Answer questions 2-10 month.

    • Hold monthly one hour meeting the first Tuesday of the month virtually.

    • Put questions and answers into eBytes.

  • Annual Survey

    • Update and hold annual club survey and report (once a year - 20 hours)

  • Send out club e-mails to members

    • Update e-mail list with updated member list from Lowell (30 minutes a month)

    • Format and update content for 2-3 e-mails a month (1 hour a month)
