The years spent training harness race horses were some of the most fulfilling of my life. I had always been drawn to the beauty and power of horses, and to be able to make a career out of my passion was a dream come true. My dearest friends

Bobby Williams Jr. and my wonderful wife, Amelia Williams,

shared my love of horses and we were able to work together towards a common goal. The pictures below are some of my most memorable winner's circle moments is a testament to the hard work and dedication that we put into each and every horse. We may not have been wealthy, but we were happy - the joy of being surrounded by our beloved horses and sharing the thrill of the race was enough.

However, as time went on, the racing industry began to change. The introduction of the lottery in Illinois reduced the horse racing purse and made it difficult to make a living from racing alone. It was time for me to find a new career, and my loyal friend and business partner

Tom O'Reilly

helped me to secure a job at ComEd. It was a difficult transition, but I was grateful for the opportunity to continue providing for my family. I also deeply miss my friend

Kenny Howard,

who was not only a loyal and faithful groom but also a dear friend.

Even though I had left the racing industry behind, the memories of those years spent with my friends and horses never left me. I often thought of Tom and Kenny and the times we shared, and I knew that I needed to reach out to them. I wanted to reconnect with the people who had shared my passion and had helped me achieve my dreams. The years may have passed, but the memories of my time spent training harness race horses remained with me, and I was grateful for the experiences and the friendships that I had gained.
