Simple West Virginia Pepperoni Rolls Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Rhodes Thaw, Rise, & Bake Yeast Dinner Rolls.  
  • Pepperoni
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Directions:
  1. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. 
  2. Place the frozen dough balls on the baking sheet.  
  3. Cover the dough balls with cling film that has also been sprayed with non-stick spray.
  4. Let the dough thaw completely for approximately 2 hours.  
  5. Once the dough is thaw you will press a ball into a flat disc.  (I like to do this over my closed fist.)
  6. Place 4 pieces of pepperoni across the center of the dough.
  7. Top the pepperoni with about a tablespoon of cheese. 
  8. Roll the dough into a cigar and fold the end inward. 
  9. Place the pepperoni roll seam-side down in a 9x13 baking dish that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.  
  10. Let the dough rise for another hour, until it doubles in size.
  11. Place into a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. 
  12. When finished baking IMMEDIATELY brush with melted butter. 
  13. Let cool in the pan.
  14. Serve and Enjoy!
