Perfect Fried Potatoes

Perfect Fried Potatoes:

*Prep Time:  10 minutes  *Cook Time:  20 minutes  *Difficulty: Easy  *Servings:  4-6


  • 4-5 medium sized potatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Seasoned Salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  1. Scrub the potatoes and slice them 1/4 in thick.
  2. Once sliced place the potatoes into a bowl of water. 
  3. Place a frying pan over medium/high heat and add the butter and oil. Allow the frying pan to get hot.  
  4. Once the pan is hot, drain the potatoes and pat them dry.  Place the potatoes into the frying pan. 
  5. Once the potatoes are in the pan add the salt, seasoning salt, and pepper to the potatoes.  Toss everything so that all of the potatoes are coated. 
  6.  Cover the skillet and let the potatoes fry for 10 minutes.*
  7. After 10 minutes add the diced onion to the frying pan, cover, and allow to cook for 10 more minutes.*
  8. Serve and Enjoy!
