Nachos Supreme

Nachos Supreme:

*Prep Time: 10 min.  *Cook Time:  5 min.  *Difficulty:  Easy  *Servings: 6-8


  • 1 bag of Tortilla Chips
  • 1 lb. of Ground Beef
  • 1 15 oz. can of Refried Beans
  • 115 oz. can of Black Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 10 oz. can of Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies 
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp. Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 c. Shredded Cheddar
  • Sliced Black Olives
  • Sliced Green Onions
  • Sour Cream
  • Cilantro
  1. To begin you will need to preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  
  2. Next place a skillet over a medium/high heat and add 2-3 tbsp. of oil.

  3. Add the ground beef to the pan and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, oregano, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
  4. Break up the meat with a spatula and stir until all of the meat is coated with the spices.
  5. Let the ground beef cook until brown and there is no more pink, about 10 minutes.
  6. Add the liquid from the diced tomatoes and green chilies to the skillet and let reduce by half to make a sauce.
  7. Heat the refried beans in a sauce pan with a splash of water until heated through and smooth.
  8. Now it is time to bring is all together!

    You are going to need a baking sheet and cover it with foil. 

  9.  Place the tortilla chips, in a single layer, on the baking sheet.

  10. Now you can dollop the warm refried beans around the baking sheet, on the chips.  

  11. Next, sprinkle the saucy beef over the chips.

  12. Now the black beans.  

  13. And lastly the cheese.  

  14. Place in the 400 degree, preheated oven for 5 minutes.  

  15. Sprinkle the diced tomatoes with green chilies over the nachos.

  16. Then top with sour cream, sliced black olives, green onions, cilantro, whatever you like.  

  17. Serve and Enjoy!
