Crock Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage

Crock Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage:

*Prep Time: 5 minutes  *Cook Time: 8 hours  *Difficulty: Easy *Servings: 4-6


Ingredients:

  • 1 3 lb. Corned Beef Brisket w/ seasoning packet
  • 1 lb. of Red or New Potatoes, whole   
  • 3 Carrots, cut in bite-sized pieces
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic, whole
  • 1 tsp. Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 3c  Beef Broth
  • 1 Head of Cabbage, sliced into ribbons
Directions:
  1. Place the brisket, fat side up, in the crock pot. 
  2. Sprinkle the seasoning packet all over it. 
  3. Add the carrots, potatoes, and garlic to the crock pot.  
  4. Season with salt, pepper, bay leaves, and thyme.  
  5. Pour in the beef broth. 
  6. Cover with the lid and set the heat to LOW.
  7. Cook for 7 hours. 
  8. After 7 hours, add the cabbage to the crock pot.  
  9. Cover with the lid once again, and set the heat to HIGH
  10. Cook for 1 hour. 
  11. Serve and Enjoy!
