Hot Onion Souffle Dip

  • 3 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 c. finely chopped onion (about 3 medium onions)*

    1. Soften cream cheese. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
    2. Place mixture in a baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned on top, about 45 to 50 minutes.
    3. Serve hot with corn chips, pretzels twists, or crackers. (We like it with Frito's Scoops corn chips or multi-grain pretzel twists the best!)
*NOTE - A 10 oz. package of frozen diced onions can be substituted; thaw prior to combining with the remaining ingredients.  The onion flavor is more pronounced with fresh chopped onion, but the dip is still very good with the frozen if you don't feel like chopping 3 onions.
