Creamy Gingerbread Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 3 T. molasses
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1 T. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • small pinch ground cloves
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping
  • gingerbread men sprinkles, snowflake sprinkles, or Christmas non-pareil sprinkles, for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. With an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, molasses, brown sugar, and powdered sugar until well combined and smooth. Stir in cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. At serving time, sprinkle gingerbread men sprinkles, snowflake sprinkles, or Christmas non-pareil sprinkles on top for garnish, if desired.
  5. Serve with mini Nilla Wafers, waffle cone pieces, animal crackers, or graham crackers for dipping.
