God is Love and it comes from God to live in us, in order to keep God's
Love in us, we need to live and act that way to others.
"Dear friends, let us Love one another, for Love comes from God. Everyone who Loves has been born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not Love does not know God, because God is Love"...(I John 4:7,8)
"Love is patient, Love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is
not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Loves does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always
protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres"...
(I Corinthians 13:4-7)
"whatever other commandment there may be, is summed up in this one
rule: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'.  Love does no harm to its
neighbor.  Therefore Love is the fulfillment of the Law"...
(Romans 13:9, 10)
"THE GOAL OF YOUR FAITH IS LOVE, which comes from a pure
heart, and a good conscience and a sincere faith"...(I Timothy 1:5)

"Above all, Love each other deeply, because Love covers over a
multitude of sins"...(I Peter 4:8)
"Hatred stirs up dissension, but Love covers over all wrongs"...
(Proverbs 10:12)
"We Love because he first Loved us.  If anyone says, 'I Love God', yet
hates someone else, they are a Liar.  For anyone who does not Love someone else, whom they have seen, cannot Love God, whom they have not seen.  And God has given us this command: Whoever Loves God must also Love others"...(I John 4:19-21)
"Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test
me, you will find nothing: I have resolved that my mouth will not sin"...

muzzle on my mouth as long as the wicked are in my presence' "...
(Psalm 39:1)

"When words are many, sin is not absent, but those who hold their
tongue is wise"...(Proverbs 10:19)
"whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the
body.  But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart,
and this makes a person 'unclean'.  For out of the heart comes evil
thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony,
slander.  These are what makes a person 'unclean'; but eating with
unwashed hands does not make them 'unclean' "...(Matthew 15:17-20)

poison.  With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it
we curse others, who have been made in God's Likeness"...(James 3:8,9)
                               Devil and Temptation
The meaning of the words 'Devil' and 'Satan' are: malice, slander,
accuser, oppressor.  Staying in Love when others offend, disrespect
and cheat us is suffering, we need to be patient because the emotion
of anger rises in us, tempting us to leave Love and to hate.
"But now you must rid yourself of all such things as these: anger, rage,
malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips"...(Colossians 3:8)
"In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your
hearts and be silent.  Do not let the sun go down while you are still
angry, and do not give the devil a foothold"...(Psalm 4:4,
Ephesians 4:26,27)
"My dear friends, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen,
slow to speak and slow to become angry, for ones anger does not bring
about the character that God desires.  If anyone considers themselves
religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on their tongue, they
deceive themselves and their religion is worthless"...
(James 1:19,20,26)
"Remember those earlier days when you understood the words, when
you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering.
Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at
other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated.
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God,
you will receive what was promised"...(Hebrews 10:32-34,36)
"In your struggle against sin, you have not resisted to the point of
bloodshed.  Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you
as children would be treated.  No discipline seems pleasant at
the time, but painful.  Later on, however, it produces a character
of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it"...
(Hebrews 12:4,7,11)
"For it is commendable if a person bears up under the pain of unjust
suffering because they are conscious of God.  If you suffer for doing
good and you endure it, this is commendable before God"...
(I Peter 2:19,20)
"Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing,
because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
For 'Whoever would Love life and see good days must keep their
tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.  They must
turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and God's ears are
attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those
who do evil'.  Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed"...
(I Peter 3:9-14, Psalm 34:12-16)
"Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also
with the same attitude...Because...THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED
INSIDE ARE DONE WITH SIN.  Dear friends, do not be surprised
at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange
were happening to you.  But rejoice that you participate in the
sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his nature
is revealed in you.  So then, those who suffer according to God's will
should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to
do good"...(I Peter 4:1,12,13,19)

produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character,
hope.  And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out
Love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom God has given us"...
(Romans 5:3-5)
"The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means that you have
been completely defeated already.  Why not rather be wronged?  Why
not rather be cheated?  Instead, you cheat and do wrong to others"...
(I Corinthians 6:7,8)
"We work hard with our own hands.  When we are cursed, we bless;
when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we

Losers"...(I Corinthians 4:12,13)
"I tell you who hear me; Love your enemies, do good to those who hate
you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.  If
someone slaps you in the face, give them the other cheek.  If someone
takes your coat, let them have the shirt off your back.  Give to every-
one who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.  Do to others as you would have them do to you"...
(Luke 6:27-31)
                                       Blind and Deaf
We are to overlook others being mean to us.  If we react like we are
blind and deaf to the tempter, then we would not let hate reign inside
ourselves.  Staying in Love is how we strive to be perfect and not
accumulate sin.  Indwelling Love pushes out sin so we don't let the
devil rule.
"Whoever covers over an offense promotes Love"...(Proverbs 17:9)
"A person's wisdom gives them patience; it is their glory to overlook
an offense"...(Proverbs 19:11)
"A fool shows their annoyance at once, but a prudent (perfect) person overlooks an insult"...(Proverbs 12:16)
"The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears, and I have not been rebellious; I have not drawn back.  I offered my back to those who
beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide
my face from mocking and spitting."....(Isaiah 50: 5, 6)
"We all stumble in many ways.  If anyone is never at fault in their
words, they are a PERFECT PERSON, able to keep their whole body
in check"...(James 3:2)
"Therefore do not let sin reign inside you so that hate is in control"...
(Romans 6:12)
"Although Jesus was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered
and, ONCE MADE PERFECT, (THEN) he became the source of eternal salvation"...
(Hebrews 5:8,9)
"In bringing many people into God's glory, it was fitting that God, for
whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of
their salvation PERFECT through suffering"...(Hebrews 2:10)
" 'Hear, you deaf; Look, you blind, and see !  Who is blind but my
servant, and deaf like the messenger I send?  Who is blind like the
one committed to me, blind like the servant of the Lord ?  You have
seen many things, but have paid no attention; your ears are open, but
you hear nothing' "...(Isaiah 42:18-20)
"And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, they must be kind
to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.  Those who oppose them, they
must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance
leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to
their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken
them captive to do his will"...(II Timothy 2:24-26)
through the fear of the Lord a person avoids evil.  When a person's ways are pleasing to the Lord, they make even their enemies live at peace with them"...(Proverbs 16:6,7)
"Jesus said 'For judgment I have come into this world, so that those
who have become blind may see, and those who say, 'I see', may
become blind'.  Some religious people who were with him heard him say

claim you can see, you acknowledge guilt of sin"...(John 9:39-41)
