Tropical Green Smoothie I

makes about two (8-ounce) servings


1 cup vanilla soy milk (or 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice)

1-2 Tablespoons ground flaxseed (optional)

3 ounces (about 2 packed cups) fresh baby leaf spinach, washed and rinsed

1 cup chopped frozen pineapple

1 cup sliced frozen banana (about 1 medium banana)


In a blender, blend the soy milk, flaxseed, and spinach until smooth.  Add the frozen fruit and blend until thick and creamy.  Pour into serving glasses.  Enjoy!
