Bacon and Cheese Pumpernickel Toasts
makes 30 toasts

8 oz Swiss cheese, grated
½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
4 green onions, finely chopped
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Worcestershire
¼ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 loaf of cocktail rye bread

Preheat oven to 350º.  In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the bread.  Lightly spread the cheese mixture on the bread slices.  Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is crisp.  Remove from the oven and transfer to a cutting board.  Cut the toasts diagonally and serve while still warm.  Enjoy!
