Welcome

Upcoming Events

We have great events in the pipeline for 2010, so please keep revisitng the site to get the latest information!

The Fundracers are a team of very determined friends willing to go that extra mile, quite literally, in the name of charity. This site will give you all the information you require regarding our Challenge, the Team, the charities we are raising money for, and most importantly how you can help!

The ride which is taking place the 27/04/2010 - 02/05/2010 needs all the support possible, and we are relying you guys to get behind us and make the event a complete success!

Our mission as team has two parts:
1. Through our events, hard work and the Tour De Cymru itself in April 2010, we wish to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charities.
2. To raise awareness of cycling, and promote the sport throughout Wales. Through our campaigns and endeavour we hope in the long term to help bring the Tour of Britain to Wales.

Band Night

Well, what can we say? It should be said that The Fundracers Band Night on Friday 27th November was a resounding success! A huge thank you goes out to Danny Gruff, The Maydays, The Scene, and The Superman Diamonds for putting on the show all The Fundracers had hoped you would. The music went down a storm with everyone, and it didn't take long before the crowd were up on their feet on the dancefloor, which is where they stayed for the rest of night (either there or the bar)!

The room looked great, especially when it was filled with people supporting The Fundracers! To be honest the turn out was amazing, and we are so thankful to everybody for coming. We hope you had a great night, and that we will see you all soon at another event hosted by The Fundracers! Here are a few pictures from the night....

Pro Evolution Soccer Tournament
Local boy Andy Williams swept the competition aside as he emerged victorious in Tuesday night's PES 2010 soccer tournament. Andy beat The Fundracer's very own Jamie Collins in the final to win the tournament and the prizes, along with the bragging rights as he is officially the best player in town! For those who turned up, we put on a great tournament for everyone and we really hope you enjoyed yourselves. We will definitely be hosting a similar tournament in the future, given the all round success. Congratulations also goes to Jamie Dunn for winning the 'keep ups' competition, scoring over 300 on stage! THe Fundracers would like to thank everyone again for getting involved, it was a great night! Here are some pics from the night...

Cycleshow 2009
Four members of The Fundracers team descended on Earls Court in London this Saturday (10/10/09) to visit Cycleshow 2009. Our aim was to generate interest in our team and our mission amongst the biggest brands in cycling, and try to secure some long term working partnerships for the future. We believe visiting the event should bring great reward for our hard work and determination. It was also a brilliant day out for those who made the trip. Below are some pics of the lads and highlights from the show:
