Sauteed Apples

3 tablespoons Butter

3 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

1/3 cup Dark Brown Sugar, packed

1/4 cup Water

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Let the butter cook a little so it begins to get slightly brown. Toss in your apples, and saute until almost tender, right around 6 minutes.

2. Add the brown sugar, water, and cinnamon. Stir together. Boil for 3-4 minutes, stirring every so often.

3.That's it! They are best served warm, at least to me, but they are great cold too! They are also wonderfully tasty on ice cream, and just last night I poured some on a slice of pumpkin bread and it was so yummy!
