Pork Meatball Mini Sub


3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 clove Garlic-diced

28 oz. Crushed Tomatoes

Salt and Pepper

1/2 pound Ground Pork

1/4 pound Hamburger 

1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon Onion Powder 

1 Egg

1/8 cup Italian Bread Crumbs

1/8 cup Traditional Bread Crumbs

1/2  cup finely shredded Parmesan

1-1 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Shredded fresh Mozzarella

Mini Sub Rolls


1. Heat the olive oil and crushed garlic together in a large pot on medium heat. 2. Once the garlic turns golden, add can of tomatoes, and reduce heat to low. Cook uncovered for 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper, then cook for 3 more minutes.

3. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground pork, hamburger, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, Italian bread crumbs, traditional bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese. Add oil to a frying pan. Heat pan to medium. Use a scoop and form meatballs. As you form them, place the meatballs in the pan to brown. Spin meatballs around until they are brown. Add to sauce to finish cooking.

4.  Shred the mozzarella cheese.

5. Place a dab of sauce on the bottom of your bun, add 2 meatballs, top with more sauce. Add cheese and enjoy!
