Raw Granola 2


1-1/2 cups buckwheat groats (soak, sprout then dehydrate for 8 hrs.)
1 cup almonds, soaked, dehydrated and coarsely chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 apple, peeled and chopped

1 cup dates, soaked in warm water for 20 minutes
1/4 cup agave
1/3 cup melted coconut oil

Mix groats, almonds, salt and cinnamon. Make a paste in the food processor out of the agave, soaked dates and coconut oil. You want it to be about the consistency of caramel. Add the date mixture to the groat mixture and stir well. Place in dehydrator on Teflex sheets and dehydrate at 108 degrees for about 12 hrs. Flip onto mesh sheets and dehydrate for another 12 hrs. or so. Store in the freezer in Ziploc bags. I LOVE this stuff!
