Origin of the Trinity of gods

“Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.” 1 Corinthians 10:14

Flee from baptized heathens = Baptized Paganism. Flee from traditions of men that break the Ten Commandments of God.

IN THE HELPS ON MATT. 6 TALKS ABOUT THE "MANUFACTURED RELIGION OF THE PHARISEES"   (SAME TODAY)
The Bible says that in the last days there will be a falling away from the true faith to doctrines of demons. Some say paganism is not satanic since most pagans claim they do not worship Satan. However, adoration of any god or goddess outside of the true God of the Bible is idolatry and is satanically inspired. The belief that spiritual power can come to an individual outside of the God of creation through self-effort, by forces in nature, or from spirits separated from the biblical God, descends from the mystery religion of Babylonian paganism.

Since modern Adventism has rejected the great light that was setup in the beginning - the beginning of the  pathway up to Heaven - this great light was to shine upon the path to light our way. Those who took their eyes off of Jesus stumbled and fell off the path into the dark and wicked world below. As a whole corporate Adventism has rejected great light (departed from the faith) and said that it was NOT God (changed gods) that led us out this far and have fallen off the path into the dark and wicked world below. Per the Achen sin in the camp - those who join in membership with her false doctrines (unbelievers -worshiping 3 gods instead of 1 God -  of the God worshiped by early Adventists) will share/partake of the plagues soon to fall upon the wicked (Rev 18:4). The judgement begins at the house of God.

All world religious beliefs not founded on the absolute truths of the Bible have descended from Mystery Babylon and can therefore be described as religions from Babylonian paganism. Those who claim they are not pagans because they are not witches do not understand this common root and source of all polytheistic and pantheistic beliefs. The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. There also is nothing new in witchcraft, "New Age/New Spirituality" or in eastern polytheistic religions either because they all came from the same root source. All these beliefs originated from Babylonian mystery religion that goes back to the rebellion against God at the tower of Babel over 4,000 years ago.

The Trinity
Trinitarians teach that there are three persons, but one essence that (are all equal) comprises the God. The most distinctive doctrine of the trinity is that of the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit. The term ‘trinity' is not a Bible term; it is a man-made term. To believe in the trinity is to believe that there is a unity of the heavenly beings. There are three co-eternal, co-equal persons, the same in substance, but different in individuality. There are three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now these three are truly distinct one from another, and yet they are all one. The Nicene Creed reads that ‘...the Heavenly Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods, just one.'
This appraisal of the trinity would lead one to believe that the Father must be His own son, and the Son must be His own Father, and that the third entity, the Holy Spirit, is equal to the first two, the three being one, yet different.

Origin of The Trinity
All Pagan religions from the time of Babylon have adopted (in one form or another) a Trinity doctrine or a triad or trinity of gods. Long before the Christian era, numerous variations of the trinity existed, and they were found in a host of pagan religions and mythologies. As with so many other pre-Christian traditional customs and practices, the revival of this doctrine in the Christian era was predictable. It was essential that followers be able to see Christianity - their ‘new' religion - in familiar terms. Triad deities (the worship of a three-in-one god) first appeared in ancient Egypt about three centuries after the Great Flood of Noah's time. These Egyptian deities came to be worshiped as Osiris, Isis and Horus. Long before the founding of Christianity the idea of a triune god or a god-in-three persons was a common belief in ancient religions. Although many of these religions had many minor deities, they distinctly acknowledged that there was one supreme God who consisted of three persons or essences. The Babylonians used an equilateral triangle to represent this three-in-one god. The Greek triad was composed of Zeus, Athena and Apollo. These three were said by the pagans to 'agree in one.' One of the largest pagan temples built by the Romans was constructed at Ballbek (situated in present day Lebanon) to their Trinity of Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. In Babylon the planet Venus was revered as special and was worshipped as a Trinity consisting of Venus, the moon and the sun. This triad became the Babylonian holy Trinity in the fourteenth century before Christ. Although other religions for thousands of years before Christ was born worshipped a triune god, the Trinity was not a part of Christian dogma and formal documents of the first three centuries after Christ. That there was no formal, established doctrine of the Trinity until the fourth century is a fully documented historical fact. Clearly, historians of church dogma and systematic theologians agree that the idea of a Christian Trinity was not a part of the first century church. The twelve apostles never subscribed to it or received revelation about it. So how then did a Trinitarian doctrine come about? It gradually evolved and gained momentum in late first, second and third centuries as pagans, who had converted to Christianity, brought to Christianity some of their pagan beliefs and practices. The modern belief in the trinity originated in the 4th century at the Council of Nicaea in approximately 325 C.E. King Constantine, the Roman Emperor and an adherent to paganism, presided over the Council. Its main purpose was to unite the Roman Empire by achieving agreement on Christian doctrine. This would promote a universal consolidation within the church. As the council proceeded, there were two distinct sides, which the Archdeacon Athanasius of Alexandria, Egypt upheld regarding the trinity. Arius fought for the opposition; but after long weeks of debate, the admitted pagan, Pontifex Maximus Constantine, ruled in favor of the Trinitarian teaching of Athanasius, the Egyptian. Egypt, one of the oldest civilizations in the world, had long before adopted the pagan belief of the trinity. One of the most famous Egyptian trinities was that of Horus, Isis, and Seb (HIS), a trinity that consisted of father, mother, and son, and a concept that also traces back to Babylonian ancestry. History teaches that much later, after instituting a mandatory belief in the trinity, Constantine tried to be more tender and merciful with the decision, but it was too late. The Nicene Creed (also known as the Athenasian Creed) had taken hold. All who did not believe in the trinity doctrine were persecuted and killed. Every available instrument of torture was used on the nonbeliever. The Nicene Creed has since been amended, but it is still read today in many of the Protestant and Catholic churches. Those churches that associate themselves with the World Council of Churches now require belief in the trinity doctrine.

PAGAN THREE HEADED TRINITY GOD

the Trinity "is a corruption
borrowed from the heathen religions,
and ingrafted on the Christian faith."
-Dictionary of Religious Knowledge

"Christianity did not destroy
paganism -  it adopted it. . . .
From Egypt came the idea
of a divine trinity."
-- (Historian Will Durant)

"The [pagan] trinities had all
the prestige of a vast antiquity...
The pagan converts therefore eagerly
accepted the Trinity compromise,
and the Apostate Church baptized it.
Now at length we know its origin."
--- John Newton
(Origin of Triads and Trinities)

"The doctrine that Jesus Christ
- the Son of God -
was - God the son
was decreed by worldly
and ecclesiastical powers.
Men were forced to accept it
at the point of the sword or else,
Thus, the error of the trinity
was propounded to the end
that ultimately people believed it
to be the truth. Thus Christianity
became in essence  like
'Babylonian'  heathenism,
with only a veneer of Christian names."

Jehovah God was Traded

a 3-in-one Mystery god

"So we see the earliest forms of various
pagan religions were really deliberate
rejections -  of the One God, Jehovah.
Their pagan doctrines were obviously
lacking specific truths as they had departed
from the true faith.  The more that people
crept away from faith in Jehovah God
the more elaborate their concoctions became
regarding their view of God,  until a "trinity" of
three persons was INVENTED."
-- The Pagan Influence Upon the Development
of the Doctrine of the Trinity -Michael F Blume

"The Papacy has in some of its churches,
an image of the Triune God, with three heads
on one body.
  The Babylonians had something
of the same
.  So utterly idolatrous was the
Babylonian recognition of the Triune Divine unity

The Trinity Doctrine Is Pagan

Unlike early Christianity, which worshipped
the Jewish God, Jehovah - The apostate Church
adopted the Trinity god of the pagans which
originated in Ancient Babylon.

"The trinity got its start in Ancient Babylon
with Nimrod - Tammuz - and Semiramis.
Semiramis demanded worship for both her husband
and her son as well as herself.  She claimed
that her son, was both the father and the son.
Yes, he was "god the father" and "god the son" -
The first divine incomprehensible trinity."

Nimrod of Ancient Babylon
Invented  the Very First Trinity

Nimrod was the First Human to openly oppose
Jehovah God.  Nimrod wanted worship for
himself, his son and his wife.  Nimrod married
his own mother - and attempted to hide this
fact - by saying his was both "The Father" and
"The Son".   His mother and wife, Semiramis was
given titles like "Queen of Heaven" and the
"Mediatrix" between god and men.  Nimrod
demanded worship for himself as "God - The Father"
and "God - The Son".   And yet, he insisted that
there were not two gods, but rather a two in one,
co-equal divine arrangement.

Nimrod's rebellion against Jehovah God,  was
instigated by Satan.  And to reward Nimrod -
this pagan God-Son equality / Trinity was
spread around the entire earth.

Jesus preached the original Jewish concept,
of One Divine Being, namded "Jehovah" God.
Jesus prayed to Jehovah and asked for His help.

Jesus obeyed Jehovah and always remained
in subjection to God's commands.

The earliest of Christ's Followers were all
worshippers of the monotheistic God,  Jehovah

"...the early Christians taught the monotheistic
views of the Jews."
-Hagen
 History of Doctrines, vol. i., p. 124

"As a follower of Christ
Peter used Gods name, Jehovah

When Peters speech was put on record
the Tetragrammaton (YHWH / Jehovah)
was here used according to the practice
during the first century B.C.E. and the
first century C.E."

ROME CORRUPTED CHRISTIANITY

When Rome took over the religion of those who
followed Christ - Rome corrupted it - by adopting
many pagan practices, beliefs, and worship.

Hence, the trinity of the pagans was among the many
things that Rome Adopted.

in the history of Christianity.
The sudden adoption of a quasi-philosophic term
to define the historic Jesus as equal to God
was a major departure from scripture....
Further, the use of this term "trinity" in a Creed
meant that,  from 325 on,  Nicenes could and did
proclaim other dogmas that have no basis
in Scripture."

The "Trinity" Began in Ancient Babylon
with Nimrod

NIMROD INVENTED THE FIRST TRINITY

"Bel (Lord) was the oldest and mightiest of the gods
of Babylonia, one of the earliest trinities. He was
"Lord of the World. The "doctrine of the Trinity" is
first met northeast of the Indus; and, tracing it to Asia
Minor and Europe, one recognizes it among every people
who had anything like an established religion. It was
taught in the oldest Chaldean, Egyptian, and Mithraic
schools. The Chaldean Sun-god, Mithra, was called "Triple"
and the trinitarian idea of the Chaldeans was a doctrine
of the Akkadians who, themselves, belonged to a race which
was the first to conceive a metaphysical trinity.
According to the archeologist Rawlinson, the Chaldeans
were a tribe of the Akkadians who lived in Babylonia from
earliest times..."
- THEOSOPHY, Vol. 52, No. 6, April, 1964
(Pages 175-182) THE CHALDEAN LEGEND

"At first, the Trinity doctrine was merely humanism,
the man, Nimrod making himself god.
The first humanism trinity of record
to be setup and worshiped as gods,
was that of Nimrod, Simeramus, and Tammuz..
These are in the Old Testament in the Canaanite
language identified as Baal, Ashtoreth, and Tammuz.
At the dispersion of the people at the Tower of Babel,
this trinity doctrine of humanism was spread all over
the world.  Each religion of all the pagan religions
held two common traits: 1.) A trinity of gods and;
2.) These were in a form of human gods."

The Trinity Doctrine Is Pagan

"Long ago - right after the Flood,
a man named Nimrod emerged on the scene
of history. His name means "let us rebel".
He led the founding of the first great civilization
– Babylon...  He led the people to rebel
against God.  Nimrod had tremendous power,
so much that he became a god in the eyes
of the people.  When he died,  his wife,
Semiramis, recognized that without him she
might loose power herself, so she devised a
clever plan.  Semiramis was pregnant.
She told everyone that the child in her womb
was none other than Nimrod being reborn.
This was the beginning of the greatest perversion...
the concept of father/son deity
,  the very first
incomprehensible divine trinity
(the unexplainable mystery)..."

NIMROD OPPOSED JEHOVAH AND INVENTED THE TRINITY

"...Nim´rod....He displayed himself
a mighty hunter in opposition to Jehovah...."
(Genesis 10:8,9)(NWT)

"...Nimrod....He was a mighty hunter
before Jehovah..."
(Genesis 10:8,9)(ASV)-BibleGateway

"Now it was Nimrod who excited them
to such an affront and contempt of God."
-Josephus (c. 37 – c. 100 AD/CE),

"His name is Nimrod, It means ‘the rebel,’
and is evidently meant to designate the nature
of the man.  He was the first specimen of giant
tyranny after the flood.  His Defiance of Jehovah
was perpetrated in wickedness and ambition
under the very eye of Jehovah.   Nimrod's
assumptions were religious as well as political.
Nimrod presented himself not only for obedience
but also for worship.  His awful greatness was
of ambitious rebellion,  apostasy and defiance
of Jehovah God.  And as it was Babel that was
the beginning of his empire, so is ‘Babylon the great’
its consummation and close."

The False Teachings of Ancient Babylon
(click-here)

Does the Bible Support the Idea of the Trinity?
While the word Trinity is not found in the Bible, is the concept of the Trinity taught clearly in it?
The Encyclopedia of Religion Vol. 15 1987 admits: ‘Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity.'
The New Catholic Encyclopedia: ‘The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament.'
The Encyclopedia of Religion says: ‘Theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity.'
The Encyclopedia Britannica 1976 observes: Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament.'
Protestant theologian Karl Barth (as quoted in The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology 1976) similarly states: ‘The New Testament does not contain the developed doctrine of the Trinity. The Bible lacks the express declaration the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are of equal essence.'
What about Matthew 28:19?

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything". The words found at Matthew 28:19, ‘in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,' are not found in the ancient Shem Tob Hebrew manuscript of Matthew, so they are likely spurious (words that were added to the Bible). And this begs the question: Does the Bibles really command that we be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Many churches use the words found at Matthew 28:19, 20 in most modern Bibles, when baptizing, which say: ‘Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all the things that I commanded you.' (This has been called the Trinity Formula, since it contains the three-person Godhead). At present, we don't have any complete Greek manuscripts of Matthew prior to the 4th Century, and all existing Greek and Latin manuscripts written thereafter contain this phrase. However, there is evidence that this reading is a later corruption of the original text. For example: The early Church historian Eusebius appears to quote from a different manuscript than any we presently have; for, eighteen times (between the years 300 and 336-C.E.) he cited Matthew 28:19, 20 as saying:‘Go ye and make disciples of all the nations in my name, teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you.' And it's interesting that the traditional Trinitarian reading of Matthew 28:19doesn't appear in Eusebius' writings until after the Council of Nicaea, when the Trinity began to formally be held as official doctrine. So, evidence strongly indicates that this is a spurious scripture inserted by later Trinitarians, in the same vein as 1 John 5:7-8. However, this finding may prove to cut both ways for some; for while it breaks apart the only mention in the Bible of the Trinity trio, it does seem to prove what many Trinitarians have said all along; that baptisms should only be done in the name of Jesus. So, since there may be no true mention of baptizing in the Names of the Father and the Holy Spirit, the only other instructions in the Bible on how to baptize include:
Acts 2:38, ‘Repent, and each of you get baptized in the name of Jesus the Anointed One, so your sins can be forgiven. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Breath.
Acts 8:15, 16, ‘They went [to the Samaritans] and prayed for them to receive the Holy Breath, because it hadn't come to any of them yet, although they had been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.'
Acts 10:48, ‘So he commanded that they should be baptized in the name of Jesus the Anointed One.'
Acts 19:5, ‘When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.'
Also, notice the Description that Luke gave of the parting words of Jesus, as found at Luke 24:47. ‘Then, in his (Jesus') name, [the message of] repentance for forgiveness of sins is to be preached in all the nations, starting from Jerusalem.' So, as you can see, the Trinitarian formula isn't found there either, which it surely would have been, if this was the true formula for baptism. For, why would Luke have missed such a critical detail if it was in fact said by Jesus?

Questions to Examine
Matt. 3:17 ‘Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: ‘This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.' Q: Who approved of whom? How does this verse suggest the two mentioned here are the same God, or equal?
Matt. 26:39,42 ‘...My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will. ...Let your will take place.'Q: If Jesus were Almighty God, or equal to Him, why would Jesus have any need to pray? Would it be possible to have two separate wills, since Jesus said, not his will, but God's will should take place? How do you reconcile that if they are both the same, or part of the same God?
Luke 22:29 ‘And I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom.' Since a covenant is a solemn promise between two parties, one does not make a covenant with oneself. Q: Since there is no mention of the Holy Spirit here, how does the Holy Spirit tie into this covenant? On which part of the covenant would the Holy Spirit be, on the Father's side, or on the side of Jesus?
Luke 23:46 ‘...Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.' This expression helps us to understand that Jesus really did die. Q: If Jesus is part of the same God, or if Jesus is God, then why didn't the Father (and the Spirit) die too? How could just part of one God die and not the rest of that one God? The Athenasian Creed states that all three are ‘equal in eternity;' meaning that all three are ‘from everlasting to everlasting'. So if Jesus died, but God (and the Spirit) didn't die, how could they be ‘equal in eternity' since there were parts of three days that Jesus did not exist, yet God (and His Spirit) did?
John 14:1 ‘Do not let your hearts be troubled. Exercise faith in God, exercise faith also in me.' Q: Why would Jesus say to exercise faith in him directly after he had said to exercise faith in God, if Jesus IS God? Doesn't that seem redundant? If Jesus is God, then why does Jesus make a distinction here between ‘God' and then ‘me'? And, why doesn't Jesus say to exercise faith in the Holy Spirit?
Col 1:3 ‘We thank God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ...' Q: Does Paul include Jesus or the Holy Spirit in the word ‘God' (as in the Trinity)? If so, why does Paul go on to mention Jesus Christ as God's Son?
1 John 5:5 ‘Who is the one that conquers the world, but he who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God?' Q: Isn't that clear? Are those that conquer this world those who have faith that Jesus is the Son of God, or ‘God the Son.'

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit can be described as a force of God or better put, "The Spirit that the world's Redeemer promised to send is the PRESENCE and POWER OF God. When Jesus was baptized in Matthew 3:16, we see the heavens were opened up and Jesus saw descending like a dove God's spirit coming upon him. There was a voice from heaven that said this is my Son, the beloved whom I have approved. Acts 10:38 describes how God anointed Jesus with holy spirit and power which he used to do good, healing all that were oppressed by the Devil, because God was with him. The Holy Spirit is the power or force of God sent out from God to do His work. God's spirit is something that those serving God are guided by and helps them to overcome their weaknesses. 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 states where we ‘receive not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that have been kindly given us by God.

The Mystery of the Trinity gods

All Christian religions claim to get their basic beliefs and doctrines for their religion from the Bible. But when asked to explain the trinity, they tell you it’s a mystery of faith that cannot be understood. Why would such a basic foundation of Christianity be so confusing and hard to explain? Wouldn’t Jesus use his ability as the Great Teacher to make the Trinity clear to his followers? In view of the statement that God is “not a God of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33), would He be responsible for a doctrine about him that is so confusing that even Hebrew, Greek and Latin scholars cannot really explain? Why, for thousands of years, did none of God’s prophets teach his people about the Trinity? Would God inspire hundreds of pages of Scripture and yet not use any of this instruction to teach the Trinity if it were the “central doctrine” of faith?
For quite some time, the trinity doctrine has been an extremely controversial subject. The word “trinity” does not appear in the Bible anywhere. How then, did it become a major part of modern-day religion?

Trinity Explained

The explanation of the trinity by Trinitarians is extremely confusing. Trinitarians teach that there are three persons, but one essence—all equal. The most distinctive doctrine of the trinity is that of the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit. The term “trinity” is not a Bible term; it is a man-made term. To believe in the trinity is to believe that there is a unity of the heavenly beings. There are three co-eternal, co-equal persons, the same in substance, but different in individuality. There are three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now these three are truly distinct one from another, and yet they are all one. The Nicean Creed reads that “…the Heavenly Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods, just one.”

This appraisal of the trinity would lead one to believe that the Father must be His own son, and the Son must be His own Father, and that the third entity, the Holy Spirit, is equal to the first two, the three being one, yet different. Isn’t this hard to explain? Not for a Trinitarian. They conclude this explanation with the famous phrase: “It’s a great mystery of faith.” It is truly a mystery.

As soon as the subject of the trinity godhead is raised and the inconsistencies of the popular belief are pointed out, one word is trumpeted:

MYSTERY!  MYSTERY!

This is supposed to  cover all. This word is the end of all discussion and the end of all reasonable examination of the subject. A useful dodge when the speaker doesn't understand the conflict between what the Bible SAYS and what they WISH it said. This is not a safe attitude to take towards any doctrine of the Scriptures. The moment we take that attitude that is the moment when our learning comes to an end.
Is it REALLY so important to KNOW what God I worship? Let’s let the Bible answer the question. Get your Bible out and find John 17:3.

John 17:3 KJV says, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the ONLY true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent.” “Eternal life” sounds pretty important to me! I am sure you would agree.
So, how do I know for sure what God I worship? Let’s let the Bible answer the question:  2 Timothy 2:15 KJV says "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." And in Jeremiah 29:13 KJV "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."

God says in Jeremiah 33:3 KJV “Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV) "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

Finding & having a relationship with God is better than winning the lottery or anything else you could do in this world! Study your Bible. Learn to pray. Talk to God as your best friend, because He REALLY loves you. He had plans for you before He created this world.

Should we ask God or people for answers? The Bible says in Isaiah 2:22 “Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?” Ask God for answers! Send up a quick prayer, right now, and ask the living God of Heaven to enlighten your mind, just now to the truth about God.

WHAT  DOES  TRINITY  MEAN?

In order to know what the doctrine of the Trinity is all about, we must have a correct definition of what it means.  See below a comparison picture of the Catholic trinity and a SDA tritheistic modern belief version:

Click Picture to Enlarge Details.

Both Webster's Dictionary as well as the Funk and Wagnall define the Trinity as:

  • "The state or character of being three."
  • "Any union of three parts or elements in one."
  • "A threefold consubstantial (sharing the same substance) personality existing in one Divine Being or substance."
  • "The union of one God of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three infinite persons."

  1. If any one of these points can be disproven, the doctrine of the Trinity is thereby proven false:

    1. There is one God (i.e., one proper object of religious devotion).

    2. The one God is a single divine being, the LORD (Jehovah, Yahweh).

    3. The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is God.

    4. The Son, Jesus Christ, is God.

    5. The Holy Spirit is God.

    6. The Father is not the Son.

    7. The Father is not the Holy Spirit.

    8. The Son is not the Holy Spirit.

Trinitarians absolutely must affirm and insist upon all of the above beliefs in order to logically confess this doctrine and if a single one of these beliefs is shown to be false, the entire doctrine of the Trinity disintegrates and is thereby proven to be totally false. Every single point must be valid for the overall doctrine to be valid. These points provide no room for doctrinal adjustments since no adjustments are possible to these points without destroying the overall doctrine itself.

The Encarta Encyclopedia has this to say about the origin of the Trinitarian doctrine:

    "Trinity (theology)

In Christian theology, doctrine that God exists as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who are united in one substance or being. The doctrine is not taught explicitly in the New Testament, where the word God almost invariably refers to the Father; but already Jesus Christ, the Son, is seen as standing in a unique relation to the Father, while the Holy Spirit is also emerging as a distinct divine person.

The term trinitas was first used in the 2nd century, by the Latin theologian Tertullian, but the concept was developed in the course of the debates on the nature of Christ. In the 4th century, the doctrine was finally formulated; using terminology still employed by Christian theologians, the doctrine taught the coequality of the persons of the Godhead. ... For an adequate understanding of the trinitarian conception of God, the distinctions among the persons of the Trinity must not become so sharp that there seems to be a plurality of gods, nor may these distinctions be swallowed up in an undifferentiated monism."

The description here of how the Trinity doctrine originated, is not unique to the Encarta Encyclopedia, but is basically the same as that which may be found in any reliable encyclopedia.

And the Catholic Encyclopedia states the following regarding the Trinity...
  • THE DOGMA OF THE TRINITY
The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion -- the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are Three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these Three Persons being truly distinct one from another. Thus, in the words of the Athanasian Creed: "the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God."
  • "Our opponents sometimes claim that no belief should be held dogmatically which is not explicitly stated in Scripture . . . . But the Protestant Churches have themselves accepted such dogmas as the Trinity for which there is no such precise authority in the Gospels." Life Magazine, Oct. 30, 1950

So the doctrine of the Trinity teaches that three infinite persons, who all share the same substance, makes up one God; or one God divided into three parts.  It is extremely important that this point is clearly understood.  Trinity does not mean that there are three Gods, but it means that there is only one God which is shared among three persons. The one God role plays between the three god persons. When the Trinity "God the Son" dies at the cross, only a piece of the "God the Son" dies; the human part/piece dies, according to the Trinity doctrine. So according to the Trinity doctrine, the co-equal, co-eternal "God the Son" did NOT truly die, because he is ETERNAL and IMMORTAL, like his Father. Only the human piece of the "God the Son" died at the cross. AND, the Trinity teaches that the Father is the Son and the Son is the Father....then there is the person of God the Holy Spirit.
The Father is NOT the Holy Spirit. The God the Son is NOT the Holy Spirit. One God: Assembly Required.

Origin of The Trinity

All Pagan religions from the time of Babylon have adopted in one form or another a Trinity doctrine or a triad or trinity of gods. Long before the Christian era, numerous variations of the trinity existed, and they were found in a host of pagan religions and mythologies. As with so many other pre-Christian traditional customs and practices, the revival of this doctrine in the Christian era was predictable. It was essential that followers be able to see Christianity—their “new” religion—in familiar terms.
Triad deities (the worship of a three-in-one god) first appeared in ancient Egypt about three centuries after the Great Flood of Noah’s time.

These Egyptian deities came to be worshiped as Osiris, Isis and Horus. After the destruction of the Tower of Babel, Nimrod and his mother-wife Semiramis, the first rulers of Babylon, fled to Egypt. There, Nimrod (known as Ninus or Athothis, among numerous other names) shared rulership with his father Cush (Menes) in the first dynasty. After Nimrod’s death, Semiramis claimed his son Horus to have been Nimrod reincarnated. These three—Osiris (Nimrod), Isis (Semiramis) and Horus (the son)—came to be exalted as a triad of deities
The word "Eucharist" used today by the IRS on 501c3 (tax exempt) applications is using Latin, or Roman Catholic terminology. The word “Eucharist” is native to Roman Catholic Baal worship. It’s the title that preaches a solar disk shaped piece of bread is truly the body and blood of Jesus Christ. That theology started first in Babylon when they would make small wafers shaped like the Sun to be eaten as food and considered truly to be Baal incarnate. Even the etching of the Sun on one side, and the initials IHS (for Isis, Horus, and Seb) on the Pagan wafer are also seen on the Roman Catholic wafer!

1. Roman Catholic Church's Eucharist wafer, where there is letters IHS. Catholic church of Rome says these letters is for the Latin: "Iesus Hominum Salvatore", which mean Jesus Saviour of the people. Circular breads (cakes) were offered also to the queen of the heaven in Babylon. People in Egypt worshipped sun and on the altars of Egypt were circular sun shaped wafers made from unleavened bread. Egyptians priests prayed above these wafers, to make them as holy. This bread represented the body of sun god and in middle were initialing IHS (Isis, Horus, Seb, Egyptian trinity). Then they told to the people, that miracle had taken place. They said that wafers have changed for the flesh of sun god Osiris and after it the nation ate its god. This Egyptian bread god ritual points out perfectly Roman Catholic Church Eucharist, in which catholic priests changes wafer for Jesus Christ. Catholic church's roots in Eucharist are in heathen religions and not in teaching of the Bible. Because teaching of Roman catholic Church is exactly similar as in heathen religions, so maybe IHS letters are "dedicated" also to Egyptian trinity? 2. In the picture is one of Roman Catholic Church's coat of arms, where are in the middle of the sun and sun ray figure letters IHS. The picture is like directly from the worship of the sun in heathen religions, where there is with idols; Isis, Horus and Seb. Read more about this on another website...very interesting read here. And even more interesting here. The Bible forbids all kinds of idol worship and using of idols symbols and so on. Therefore, is clear, that the church of Rome worships these idols, because they use those in their religion. There is no evidence the Apostles of Jesus ever heard of a Trinity. The Bible does not teach the doctrine of the Trinity. Neither the word Trinity itself, nor such language as one in three, three in one, one essence or substance or three persons, is biblical language. The language of the doctrine is the language of the ancient Church, taken not from the Bible but from classical Greek philosophy.

These three were said by the pagans to ‘agree in one.’ One of the largest pagan temples built by the Romans was constructed at Ballbek (situated in present day Lebanon) to their Trinity of Jupiter, Mercury and Venus.

The modern belief in the trinity originated in the 4th century at the Council of Nicea in approximately 325 C.E. King Constantine, the Roman Emperor and an adherent to paganism, presided over the Council. Its main purpose was to unite the Roman Empire by achieving agreement on Christian doctrine. This would promote a universal consolidation within the church.

United Nations; The New World Order: The third area of focus is religion. Organizations like the World Council of Churches and the Parliament of World Religions were established to introduce a new world religion. It is based on a pantheistic/humanist philosophy. Pay careful attention when you study the documents and reports published by the United Nations and related organizations. This philosophy is now being taught in the education system and has been implemented under programs such as Goals 2000. It is my understanding that a church must embrace belief in the Trinity god to be able to join the WCC.

The World Council of Churches (WCC) is a worldwide fellowship of 349 global, regional and sub-regional, national and local churches seeking unity, a common witness and Christian service.[1] It is a Christian ecumenical organization that is based in the Ecumenical Centre in GenevaSwitzerland.[2] The fellowship includes denominations collectively representing a Christian population of some 590 million people in nearly 150 countries in all regions of the world, over 520,000 local congregations served by some 493,000 pastors and priests, in addition to elders, teachers, members of parish councils and others throughout more than 120 countries.[3] [However, two paragraphs later in this WCC publication, we read, "Since the World Council of Churches is not itself a church, it passes no judgment upon the sincerity with which member churches accept the basis." And in the very next paragraph we read the following: "Some very conservative churches judge the basis not biblical enough; some ... churches DO NOT ACCEPT THE TRINITARIAN FORMULA." ] The Catholic church is not a member of the WCC but is a member of some of it's daughter organizations.

As the council proceeded, there were two distinct sides which the Archdeacon Athanasius of Alexandrai, Egypt upheld regarding the trinity. Arius fought for the opposition. After long weeks of debate, the admitted pagan, Pontifex Maximus Constantine, ruled in favor of the Trinitarian teaching of Athanasius, the Egyptian. Egypt, one of the oldest civilizations in the world, had long before adopted the pagan belief of the trinity. One of the most famous Egyptian trinities was that of Horus, Isis and Seb, (HIS), a trinity that consisted of father, mother and son, and a concept that also traces back to Babylonian ancestry.

History teaches that much later, after instituting a mandatory belief in the trinity, Constantine tried to be more tender and merciful with the decision, but it was too late. The Nicean Creed (also known as the Athanasian Creed) had taken hold. All who did not believe in the trinity doctrine were persecuted and killed. Every available instrument of torture was used on the nonbeliever. The Nicean Creed has since been amended, but it is still read today in many of the Protestant and Catholic churches. Those churches that associate themselves with the World Council of Churches now require belief in the trinity doctrine.

In the Bible, God is a Person! He is a distinct individual. He is not a committee, an essence, a substance or a nature inhabited by three. This is a man-made definition and it will not fit the Scriptures. Consider how ridiculous the following verses would be if we were to think of God as three Persons:
  1. For God(S) so loved the world, that he (they) gave his (their) only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him (them) should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
  2. But to us there is but one (three) God (Gods), the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him (them); and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. (1 Cor 8:6)
  3. One (three) God(s) and Father(s) of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph 4:6)
  4. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God(s), even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  (1 Cor 15:24)
If God is three, why does the New Testament say over and over that He is one, who is the Father (only)?

Remember that one of Jesus' End Times prophecies was that the hearts of the people would have become extremely cold to Him. "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." (Matthew 24:12)

Does the Bible Support the Idea of the Trinity?

While the word Trinity is not found in the Bible, is the concept of the Trinity taught clearly in it?
  • The Encyclopedia of Religion Vol. 15 1987 admits: “Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity.”
  • The New Catholic Encyclopedia: “The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament.”
  • The Encyclopedia of Religion says: “Theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity.”
  • The Encyclopedia Britannica 1976 observes: “Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament.”
  • Protestant theologian Karl Barth as quoted in The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology 1976 similarly states: “The New Testament does not contain the developed doctrine of the Trinity. The Bible lacks the express declaration the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are of equal essence.”
  • The Illustrated Bible Dictionary records: "The word Trinity is not found in the Bible. . . It did not find a place formally in the theology of the church till the 4th century."
  • The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits that the Trinity "is not. . . directly and immediately the word of God."

  • Jesuit Fortman similarly states: "The New Testament writers. . . give us no formal or formulated doctrine of the Trinity, no explicit teaching that in one God there are three co-equal divine persons. . . Nowhere do we find any trinitarian doctrine of three distinct subjects of divine life and activity in the same Godhead."
  • Yale University professor E. Washburn Hopkins affirms in the Origin and Evolution of Religion: "To Jesus and Paul the doctrine of the trinity was apparently unknown; . . .they say nothing about it."

  • The God of heaven saw it fit to establish the Advent movement on a solid foundation of truth. This foundation included a correct understanding of who He is. The Advent band was not left to wander through the multiplied delusions of the spiritualizers. From the earliest visions God assured His children of the reality of His being. “I have often seen the lovely Jesus, that He is a person. I asked Him if His Father was a person and had a form like Himself. Said Jesus, “I am in the express image of My Father’s person.” I have often seen that the spiritual view took away all the glory of heaven […]” {E.G. White, Early Writings, p. 77}
CHRISTIANS OF THE FIRST THREE CENTURIES HAD NO EXPLICIT TRINITARIAN DOCTRINE
  • The New Catholic Encyclopedia notes: "The formulation 'one god in three Persons' was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. . . Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective."
  • The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology states: "Primitive Christianity did not have an explicit doctrine of the Trinity such as was subsequently elaborated in the creeds."
  • The Encyclopedia Americana plainly reports: "Fourth Century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching."
  • The Ethnic Trinities by L. L. Paine, page 219, states that the development of the trinity was an evolutionary process. "The Christian dogma did not start from a polytheistic or pantheistic ground, but from Jewish monotheism; but the development from one God to a trinity was just as completely a historical evolution as any other."

THE TRINITY IDEA WAS INFUSED INTO CHRISTIANITY THROUGH PAGAN GREEK PLATONIC THOUGHT

  • The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge plainly documents the historical influence that Greek Philosophy had on the development of the Trinity: "The doctrine of the Logos and the Trinity received their shape from Greek Fathers, who. . . were much influenced, directly or indirectly, by the Platonic philosophy . . . That errors and corruptions crept into the Church from this source can not be denied."
  • The book entitled, The Church of the Fist Three Centuries acknowledges: "The doctrine of the Trinity was of gradual and comparatively late formation: . . . it had its origin in a source entirely foreign from that of the Jewish and Christian Scriptures; . . . it grew up, and was ingrafted on Christianity, through the hands of the Platonizing Fathers."
  • The Platonizing Fathers were the Greek Philosophers that became Christian but continued to follow the teachings of Plato. These Philosophers mixed Christians Ideas with Pagan Greek Philosophy to formulate the concept of a three person Godhead. The apostle Paul warned the Greek Colossian city, "Beware lest any man cheat you through philosophy and vain deceit. . .(Colossians 2:8)" What kind of philosophy was Paul warning about? Since Paul was addressing a Greek city, he must have been warning about the entrance of Greek Philosophical Thought. The Platonic Fathers also known as Greek Apologists were the first to introduce Pagan Trinitarian Thought into Christianity.
  • Church Historian Adolf Harnack states that the Church Fathers which developed the Nicene Creed were Platonists who appealed to Plato in support of the Trinity. Volume 4. Page 88: "Science concluded on alliance with the Nicene Creed; that was a condition of the triumph of orthodoxy. . . These men took their stand on the general theory of the universe which was accepted by the science of the time; they were Platonists, and they once more naively appealed to Plato in support even of their doctrine of the Trinity."
  • Church Historian Jaroslav Pelikan states in his book - The Emergence of the Catholic Tradition - that Greek Platonic elements were unmistakably present in the Trinitarian definition of One God in "three persons." "The doctrine of the Trinity. . .must be interpreted in a manner that would be consistent with this a priori definition of the deity of God (One essence, three persons). Neoplatonic elements were unmistakably present in this definition. . ."
  • The New Catholic Encyclopedia vol. 10, page 335 admits: "From the middle of the 4th century onward, however, Christian thought was strongly influenced by Neo-platonic philosophy and mysticism."
  • Adolf Harnack states in Outlines of the History of Dogma, that church doctrine became "firmly rooted in the soil of Hellenism [pagan Greek thought]. Thereby it became a mystery to the great majority of Christians."
  • Andrew Norton declares in the book "A Statement of Reasons" that the Trinity originated not from the Bible, but from Platonic Philosophy: "We can trace the history of this doctrine, and discover its source, not in the Christian revelation, but in the Platonic philosophy . . . The Trinity is not a doctrine of Christ and his Apostles, but a fiction of the school of the later Platonists."

THE TRINITY IDEA WAS BORROWED FROM HEATHEN RELIGIONS

  • A Dictionary of Religious Knowledge records that many historians believe that the Trinity "is a corruption borrowed from the heathen religions, and ingrafted on the Christian faith."
  • Edward Gibbons's History of Christianity notes: "If Paganism was conquered by Christianity, it is equally true that Christianity was corrupted by Paganism. The pure Deism of the first Christians . . . was changed, by the Church of Rome, into the incomprehensible dogma of the trinity. Many of the pagan tenets, invented by the Egyptians and idealized by Plato, were retained as being worthy of belief."
  • Historian Will Durant observed: "Christianity did not destroy paganism; it adopted it. . . From Egypt came the ideas of a divine trinity."
  • Siegfried Morenz, in the book 'Egyptian Religion' notes: "The trinity was a major preoccupation of Egyptian theologians . . . These gods are combined and treated as a single being, addressed in the singular. In this way the spiritual force of Egyptian religion shows a direct link with Christian theology."
  • James Hastings wrote in the Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics: "In Indian religion, e.g., we meet with the trinitarian group of Brahma, Siva, and Visnu; and in Egyptian religion with the trinitarian group of Osiris, Isis, and Horus. . . Nor is it only in historical religions that we find God viewed as a Trinity. One recalls in particular the Neo-Platonic views of the Supreme or Ultimate Reality. which is triadically represented."
  • The French New Universal Dictionary reveals both Plato's Greek Philosophical Influence upon Christianity and that of ancient pagan religions: "The Platonic Trinity, itself merely a rearrangement of older trinities dating back to earlier peoples, appears to be the rational philosophic trinity attributes that gave birth to the three hypostases or divine persons taught by the Christian Churches. . . Thus Greek philosophers conception of the divine trinity . . . can be found in all the ancient pagan religions."
  • L. L. Paine records that the Trinity idea stems from Pagan Roots: ". . . among the more highly civilized Chaldaeans, Babylonians, Assyrians, and Egyptians, triads of gods were a common and notable feature of their theogonies."
  • H. P. Blavatsky in Isis Unveiled (pages 45,46), reveals that the Trinity Dogma originated from Babylon: "We find it northeast of the Indus; and tracing it to Asia Minor and Europe, recognize it among every people who had anything like an established religion. It was taught in the oldest Chaldaean, Egyptian, and Mithraitic schools. The Chaldaean Sun-god, Mithra, was called 'Triple,' and the trinitarian idea of the Chaldaeans was a doctrine of the Akkadians, who themselves belonged to a race which was the first to conceive a metaphysical trinity. According to Rawlinson, the Chaldeans are a tribe of the Akkadians, who lived in Babylonia from the earliest of times."

The Secret Teachings of All Ages, p XL, by Manly P. Hall--33rd Degree Mason (Hall is quoting Hermes or Cush who was the interpreter of the Mysteries, or basically the founder of spiritualistic Babylonian religion.  Cush was also the father of Nimrod, who founded Babylon and then based its Mystery religion upon the teachings of his father).
  • Trinity & Sunday Worship IS PAGAN. THE TRINITY GOD "EXPLAINED": "Every person who understands why keeping the 7th day Sabbath is TRUTH, also understands, or should with study; understand what's wrong with worshiping the Mystery Trinity triangle god and worshiping the living God on Sunday. BOTH are of PAGAN ORIGIN, implemented at almost the same time in history. The Trinity god compares to Baal in Elijah's day and any other false god. The Trinity god certainly did NOT exist at creation; it evolved from Satan's influence on man. When you worship the Trinity god you are worshiping Satan himself; who's plans from Heaven were to be worshiped: Isaiah 14:14 "I will make myself like the Most High." Don't sell your soul to the devil now! Jesus is just about to come get His faithful ones." CKRH Do you worship a papal god and/or Sabbath?

GOD GIVES AMPLE WARNING TO BEWARE OF PAGAN IDEAS COMING FROM BABYLON

  • In Revelation 17:1-5, the Bible gives ample warning to beware of the Apostasy which would emanate from Babylon:". . . I will show you the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with fold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
  • The Pagan idea of a Trinity of three personal gods clearly originated in ancient Babylon. It was from ancient Babylon that all Pagan Religions had their original source. When God dispersed the ancients at the tower of Babel, they settled throughout the world with their concept of a metaphysical trinity firmly entrenched. It was from this source that Christianity has been infiltrated. Babylon is the Mother of all false religion. "And here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits." Revelation 17:9
  • It is no coincidence that the city of Rome has been known from ancient times as "the city of seven hills." Ancient Roman coins plainly record inscriptions referring to the Roman Capital as "THE CITY OF SEVEN HILLS." What more convincing proof do we need? Since the Vatican sits on the seven hills of the ancient city of Rome she must be the whore spoken of in the Biblical Book of Revelation.
  • God plainly calls the Roman Catholic Church who sits on the seven hills of Rome, "Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots." Why would God call the Catholic Church "Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots? She is called "Babylon The Great," because the historical evidence proves that the Roman Catholic Church has promulgated ancient pagan teachings which had their original roots stemming from ancient Babylon. She is called "The Mother Of Harlots because this pseudo-Christian Religion has birthed many Protestant Daughters who continue to practice the central teaching of their Mother. The central teaching of the Harlot Church is clearly the false doctrine of the Trinity and a false Christian Baptism into the Trinity rather than in the Biblical way, "in the name of Jesus Christ."
  • The false bride is represented in the Bible as a whore because she has been contaminated with ancient Pagan ideas emanating from the Devil. Just as there is physical adultery so there can be spiritual adultery when we enter into idolatry. Satan has continued to use the Catholic Institution known in the Bible as "the great whore" to deceive people into believing that she is the true bride of Christ. Yet the true virgin bride of Jesus Christ will not be contaminated with idolatrous teachings stemming from ancient Babylon.
  • Beloved, the true bride of Jesus Christ will always know who her husband really is; and she is not ashamed to take on His name in water baptism. It is a false and treacherous bride that refuses to take to herself the name of her true husband in water baptism. And it is a false and treacherous bride that will join in ecumenical fellowship with any church or organization promoting the false teaching of the Trinity and the whores' corrupt form of Trinitarian baptism.
  • The Bible repeatedly declares that the true bride of Jesus Christ will remain pure from the sin of committing spiritual adultery. The Hebrews of the Old Covenant had repeatedly sinned against Jehovah God by going after false gods. Jehovah repeatedly called His people to repent over blending idolatrous ideas with scriptural knowledge. God always spoke of the sins of idolatry as FORNICATION or ADULTERY against Him. Do we really think that God will except the blending of pagan ideas with true worship? Has God changed His warning, "I AM THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT." "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues." Revelation 18:4
  • CONCLUSION: Jeremiah 11:9-10...  "And the LORD said unto me,  A CONSPIRACY  is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah  ...have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.": THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY IS NOT FOUND IN THE BIBLE. The Trinity represents a pagan deity.

How Is The Trinity Doctrine Rooted In Paganism?

For every truth, Satan has devised and disguised a counterfeit. Because Satan hates Jesus Christ, the Son of God, he created a counterfeit or false system of worship called “Sun Worship”. People began to exalt the SUN instead of the SON of GOD, our only hope for salvation. Sun Worship was given pagan symbols such as the blazing sun and associated with Appolo the sun god and worshipped on Sunday the day of the Sun God.

 Satan has been jealous of Jesus even before he was kicked out of Heaven for his first sin of self-exaltation, among others. He wanted and still wants to be exalted above Jesus and His Father, our God (Isaiah 14:14). Satan wanted to be higher than even our sovereign God in rank, and still today wants to be worshiped. So Satan created a false system of worship to counterfeit the true worship of God in Heaven. “With MANY, a philosophical idol is enthroned in the place of Jehovah; while the living God, as He is revealed in His word, in Christ, and in the works of creation, is worshiped by but FEW.” –{The Great Controversy, p. 583.1}

The concept of sun worship is one nearly as old as mankind itself.
When Eve sinned & Adam acquiesced, (passively followed suit) they both rejected God’s warnings not to partake of good and evil. We cannot worship and obey God in truth and at the same time worship or obey Satan’s errors. We must separate from error. Satan started right away to deceive and try to trick us into worshiping him instead of the living God of Heaven. Satan is the Father of lies, and he has had nearly 6000 years, to disguise his lies as truth. He is trying to deceive the whole world, so that he does not have to burn for their sins, they will have to burn and have eternal death for their own sins. Don’t let him trick you. Sit at the feet of Jesus and become filled by Jesus Spirit. Learn of Him by studying the Bible and the testimony of Jesus! "And the dragon (dragon = Revelation 12:9, Revelation 20:2, Isaiah 27:1) was wroth with the woman (woman = Jeremiah 6:2, 2 Corinthians 11:2, Ephesians 5:23-27), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ" Revelation 12:17. "...for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10. (For Prophecy keys to unlock the Bible visit: https://sites.google.com/site/theendtimewarning/keys-to-unlock-the-bible) For with stammering lips and another tongue will God speak to His people. See  Isaiah 28:9-14.

After the flood, Sun worship started again in ancient Babylon with Nimrod, the grandson of Ham, and Great-Grandson of the Patriarch Noah who built the ark. Nimrod doubted God’s promises of not sending another flood to cover the whole world and rebelled against God by trying to build the tower of Babel so high he could escape another worldwide flood if needed. In effect, Satan influenced Nimrod, a willing vessel/servant of Satan, to reject God and called Him a liar (God does not lie Numbers 23:19) by building the tower of Babel. The story is found in Genesis 11:1-9. God, in His wisdom confounded their language, so they babbled. The people could not understand one another anymore, it sounded like babble, so they scattered over the earth.

“Under a religious guise, Satan will seek to extend his influence over the Christian world.” –{GC88 464.1}

Now let's go back about 5,000 years to Babylon (Iraq today) (Babylon means false doctrines today), to learn about the Trinity of gods, Christmas and Easter, the Eucharist, etc., and learn how they began.

After the flood, Noah's son Ham had a son named Cush (Genesis 10:1,6,7,8-11) who had a son named Nimrod. Nimrod was a mighty hunter and the first to begin war. He built the cities of Babel, and Nineveh. Nineveh was the capital of Assyria as Micah 5:6 tells us: "the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof." Remember Jonah? When he got out of the whale, he walked the 500 miles from Joppa to Nineveh in upper "Iraq" today.

Nimrod's mother was Semiramis the daughter of Cush, so in reality she was Nimrod's older sister.
By incest with Cush she became Nimrod's mother. When he reached manhood she married her own son Nimrod, and ruled as Queen of the Heavens.  A few Years later she conspired with others and he was killed. She said he was 2/3 god and 1/3 mortal, and the man had to die as a sacrifice for his people. She built a monument to him and said he would return soon. Remember she was his sister, mother and wife! The Queen! Remember, the Queen! She was deified, and became known as the “Queen of The Heavens”!

After his death, she became pregnant and said it was his spirit re-incarnated, that had returned to do the deed.  Nimrod was killed in the winter of the year, and then she got pregnant. Nine months later in December she birthed Tammuz, a baby boy born at the winter solstice. She had monuments and images carved of her holding her baby son who she said was the son of his Father Nimrod come back from the sun. People worshiped her son as the reincarnate of her son Nimrod in the flesh. She was Queen, so the people took the story, hook, line, and sinker. It became TRADITION. Nimrod’s mother, being the wife of Cush, was a granddaughter of Noah’s wife, who survived the great flood. Note how the Babylonish pagan religion made use of this fact in deifying Semiramis, making her a goddess, the daughter of the fish-goddess Atargatis. In his book "The Two Babylons", Alexander Hislop wrote "Easter is nothing else than Ashtate the Queen of the Heavens, whose name is Ishtar". Semiramis aka The Queen of the Heavens that apostate Jews were worshiping during the time of the prophet Jeremiah was likely Astarte. The apostate Jew women back then were baking sacrificial cakes (hot cross buns today) to this goddess, The Queen of the Heavens (Jeremiah 44:15-19).

So for hundreds of years before Christ the "Pagan religions" celebrated the winter solstice (December 21) as the RE-birth of the SUN GOD Nimrod, reincarnated as Tammuz. They made idols/images of him in the arms of his mother. In Mesopotamia (Iraq) hundreds of years before Christ, the fertility cult worshiped Tammuz, with his Mother, god "Ishtar", in the spring, even including evergreen “Christmas” trees. They said his semen was the raising sap in the trees in spring, bringing new life to the trees. (Trees are represented as people in the Bible. See Isaiah 61:3 and Judges 9:8-15. Important King, ruler, pope, hierarchical rulership, social ruler over people concept started here.)

Nimrod was a king, a mighty ruler in what was once called Mesopotamia (Today, the “Fertile Crescent” includes the countries of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus, Jordan, Palestine, Kuwait, the Sinai Peninsula, and Northern Mesopotamia.) Nimrod, leader of the rebellion at Babylon, re-invented the Antediluvian pagan religion in the image of Satan worship masquerading or disguised as “Sun Worship”, now disguised as the Trinity of gods (Satan masquerades under many names including tri-ethism, this model/version has been chosen by modern (officially in 1980) Seventh-day Adventism today as their gods to worship) and is thriving in the Mother and daughter churches of Christendom today.

Fables and legends abound about this ignoble figure, called in the Hebrew tongue, Nimrod, and known universally (though by different names and identities) throughout the many and varied religions of the ancient world. An in-depth consideration of the information in the Bible shows that more than any other single person or thing, with the exception of Satan himself, this man was responsible for the religious system called, Mystery Babylon (Revelation 17:5). This system was caste by his legendary life and his open rebellion against God and was further developed by his wife, Semiramis, and her priests after his decease.

After the destruction of the Tower of Babel, Nimrod and his mother / sister/ wife/ murder / fornicator, Semiramis aka Queen of the Heavens, the first rulers of Babylon, fled to Egypt. (Egypt is known for having the most blatant rejection of God, Pharaoh saying to Moses, “Who is God, that I should worship and obey Him”.) In Egypt, Nimrod (known as Ninus or Athothis, among numerous other names) shared rulership with his father Cush (Menes) in the first dynasty. After Nimrod was murdered, Semiramis claimed his son Horus to have been Nimrod reincarnated. These three— Isis (Semiramis), Osiris (Nimrod), and Horus (the son Tammuz)—came to be exalted as a triad of deities. The first Trinity of gods after the flood. Also known today with the initals “IHS”.

The triad of deities or trinity of gods was received by their adoring followers. At points during history, through the mediums of conquest, immigration, trade and slavery, found its way into the heart of the religion of every society of peoples on earth. Look up what is written on the seal of the Society of Jesus, the Jesuits. You will find the letters IHS = Isis, Horus, Seb. The Jesuits claim, of course, the letters stand for Biblical sounding names for this pagan triad of deities, Iesus Hominum Salvator. The letters IHS are found today in many Catholic churches, on the Eucharist wafer and on many benches or pews there.

The word "Eucharist" used today by the IRS on 501c3 (tax exempt) applications is using Latin, or Roman Catholic terminology. To be approved for a United States “tax exempt” non-profit status that a 501c3 provides, you must agree to the Eucharist doctrine of Baal/Nimrod (Baal is another of Nimrod’s many names). The word “Eucharist” is native to Roman Catholic doctrines derived from Baal/Nimrod worship. It’s the title-doctrine that preaches a solar disk shaped piece of bread is truly the actual incarnate body and blood of Jesus Christ. That theology or doctrine started first in Babylon when they would make small wafers shaped like the Sun to be eaten as food and considered truly to be Baal/Nimrod incarnate. Even the etching of the Sun on one side, and the initials  IHS (for Isis, Horus, and Seb) on the Pagan wafer are also seen on the Roman Catholic wafer today! The Jesuits and Roman Catholic Church claim, of course, the letters stand for Iesus Hominum Salvator, sometimes interpreted as: ("Jesus, Savior of men" in Latin).

Satan has disguised these unholy pagan gods in English speaking countries today by naming them with Biblical sounding names to deceive even the very elect (Matthew 24:24), if that were possible into worshiping him.
Today these pagan gods are deceptively called Christian biblical sounding names, "God the Father”, “God the Son”, and “God the Holy Spirit". “God the Father” is Nimrod, “God the Son” is Tammuz, and “God the Holy Spirit” is the Queen of Heaven, Simiraris. Inspired by Satan to trick us into worshipping him instead of the one and only true living God of Heaven.

Some of the Trinity names vary in different languages, and countries around the world:

Babylon: Nimrod Tammuz Semiramis and Belus – Tammuz – Rhea, Ishtar and/or Isis, Horus, and Seb
Egypt: Isis (Ra), Osiris Horus
Greece: Zeus Apollo Athena
India: Brahama Vishnu Shiva
Rome: Jupiter Mars Venus
Phoenicians: El – Bacchus – Astarte
Babylon: Belus – Tammuz – Rhea, Ishtar
Assyria: Ninus – Hercules – Beltis
China: Pan-Ku – Yi – Heng-O, MaTsoopo
Mexico: Teotl – Quetzalcoatl – Coatlicue
Scandinavia: Odin – Balder – Frigg, Freyia
NZ Maori: Tarang – Maui - Tiki-Tiki
United States: "God the Father”, “God the Son”, and “God the Holy Spirit" - Satan has put “Holy” Bible sounding names on these pagan gods to modernize them and trick people today into worshiping him. Truth and error cannot mix, for it means apostasy from the truth.

The Encyclopedia of Religion Vol. 15 1987 admits: “Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity”.

Some time ago back in the Old Testament the children of Israel were held as slaves in Egypt for about four hundred years. They were living right in the heart of pagan sun worship (Egypt), and this corrupted their true concept of God. After delivering them from the Egyptian bondage, Jesus had to deal with one of the most insidious falsehoods ever fostered on mankind. So from the top of Mount Sinai, Jesus thundered down His Father’s law/commands in loud and clear tones. "Thou shalt have no other Gods before ME”. Exodus 20:3. Jesus Father & God, our only GOD, want’s everyone to worship Him and Him alone. No other gods, except Him.

"The Lord, He is God. All His commandments are to be strictly obeyed. There will be no vindication of any soul who continues in transgression and sin. The truth practised in the life, in words, in actions, is the test whereby every man is to be judged." --{ Testimonies to the Church Regarding Individual Responsibility and Christian Unity, p. 12.1}

Do you realize what every church and non-profit organization have done by filing and being approved by the IRS for a tax exempt, non-profit, 501c3 status in the United States today? All who apply and are approved for a 501c3 tax status have agreed to incorporate the Eucharist doctrine and ALL it entails into their doctrinal teachings! Jesus said to "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." Matthew 22:21. Turn to the chapter entitled “The Eucharist Doctrine” in this book to learn more about it.

Do you see how Satan has devised, incorporated and disguised the pagan gods, into the counterfeit worship of triad deities aka the trinity of gods, into people’s minds? Contrary to the TRUE CONCEPT of God & His only begotten Son? Compare the true concept: “God the Father”, “Son of God” and the invisible, unseen “Holy PRESENCE of their Spirit being/persons” (John 4:24), taught by the pioneers of Adventism, with the false philosophical concept of God: "God the Father”, “God the Son”, and “God the Holy Spirit" taught by the new re-modeled doctrine of God, by the modern General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists today. Scary, isn’t it? It’s very close to the track of truth. Ellen White warns in 1898, "The Father and the Son alone are to be exalted." --{YI July 7, 1898, par. 2}

This false tri-lie concept denies Jesus is really and truly the begotten Son of God! Also, among many other false things, it denies Jesus completely and truly died for us, and that His Father raised him from the dead. Our hope within us is gone if Jesus is not the true Son of God and He did not truly die for us. "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." 1 John 4:3

Luke 23:46 Jesus said, ‘...Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.' This expression helps us to understand that Jesus really did die.

1 John 5:5 ‘Who is the one that conquers the world, but he who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God?' Q: Isn't that clear? Are those that conquer this world those who have faith that Jesus is the Son of God, or ‘God the Son.'? See how closely Satan has made the trinity sound to the truth? Scary? Have no fear. God is with us.

1 Corinthians 2:10-12 states where we ‘receive not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that have been kindly given us by God.

“Satan is now using every device in this sealing time, to keep the minds of God's people from the present, sealing truth; and to cause them to waver. I saw a covering that God was drawing over his people, to protect them in the time of trouble; and every soul that was decided on the truth, and was pure in heart, was to be covered with the covering of Almighty God. Satan knew this, and was at work in mighty power, to keep the minds of as many as he possibly could unsettled, and wavering on the truth.” --{Sons and Daughters of God, p. 342.2}

A picture is worth a thousand words. There are many versions of the Trinity of gods. Compare the two side by side pictures below. One modeling the Roman Catholic Church Foundational Trinity doctrine; the other modeling the Modern Adventism Trinity version of Tritheism. Can you see any difference in this picture of their gods besides the name of the Holy Ghost/Spirit?

“Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.” 1 Corinthians 10:14

This is the counterfeit worship doctrine of the anti-Christ the Bible has warned us about. This devil inspired anti-Christ doctrine (Satan hates Jesus) started back in the Apostle Paul’s day and age. It has only increased in strength and deceptiveness over nearly 6,000 years. "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." 1 John 2:22.

·         "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." 1 John 2:18

·         "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." 1 John 2:22

·         "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." 1 John 4:3

·         "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." 2 John 1:7

2 Corinthians 11:3-5 (KJV) warns us not to be deceived by ANOTHER JESUS, ANOTHER SPIRIT, ANOTHER GOSPEL. Yet how many are fooled by the Bible sounding names given to the Pagan trinity of gods created by Nimrod & Satan today?

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with (beware of) him.” 2 Corinthians 11:3-5

It’s right there in the Bible, warning not to worship the trinity of gods, if we are awake and studying.

What Does The Bible Teach?

While Jesus is often called the Son of God in the Bible, nobody in the first century ever thought of him as being “God the Son”. Even the demons, which “believe there is one God”, knew from their experience in the spirit realm that Jesus was not God. They addressed Jesus as the separate Son of God. Matthew 8:28, 29 refers to the demons speaking to Jesus through a possessed man saying, “What have we to do with you, Son of God?” They did not refer to Jesus as “God the Son”. Also when Jesus died, the pagan Roman soldiers that were standing by said, “Certainly this was God’s Son. (Matthew 27:54)
The disciples viewed Jesus as the “one mediator between God and men,” (1 Timothy 2:5) not as God himself. A mediator by definition is someone separate from those who need mediation.

The apostle Peter clearly makes the distinction of Father and Son and that Jesus had a God that resurrected him, by saying “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3). The apostle Paul similarly states “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)
The God of heaven saw it fit to establish the Advent movement on a solid foundation of truth. This foundation included a correct understanding of who He is. The Advent band was not left to wander through the multiplied delusions of the spiritualizers. From the earliest visions God assured His children of the reality of His being. “I have often seen the lovely Jesus, that He is a person. I asked Him if His Father was a person and had a form like Himself. Said Jesus, “I am in the express image of My Father’s person.” I have often seen that the spiritual view took away all the glory of heaven […]” {E.G. White, Early Writings, p. 77}

So what did Jesus teach? Did He come preaching that He was equal to the Mighty One of this world? Where did he get all of His knowledge? He got it from the same place any son does—from His Father. He said, in John 15:15, “For all things that I heard of My Father I have made known to you.” One can conclude that he was passing on the knowledge he learned from his Father, down to his disciples. Notice that in many scriptures, Jesus refers to God as his Father, as the authority figure if you will. He never calls God, his partner, or his co-worker as if to infer that he was an equal.
Now, if Jesus were equal to the Father, He would know all the things that God knows! But that is not the case as we see in John 5:19. The Messiah said: “Most truly I say to you, the Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing.” Also, (Matthew 24:3) when his disciples asked Jesus while sitting upon the Mount of Olives, “Tell us, When will these things be and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things”? Jesus goes on to describe the signs but then he says “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36)
John 14:28, “You have heard that I said to you, I am going away and I am coming back to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.” Jesus is very clear in the fact that He is NOT equal with His Father.
Jesus showed that he was a creature separate from God and that he, Jesus, had a God above him, a God whom he worshiped, a God whom he called “Father”. In prayer to God, Jesus said “Father, the hour has come: glorify your son, that your son may glorify you. This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God and of the one whom you sent forth. So now you, Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was.” (John 17:1-5).
But Jesus did say, “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30) But here again, that statement does not even suggest a “Trinity”, since he spoke of only two as being one, not three. This statement can be better explained by the expression that he himself made clear later when he prayed regarding his followers that “they may be one just as we are one.” (John 17:22) Jesus and his Father are “one” in that Jesus is in full harmony with his Father. He prayed that all his followers might also be in harmony with his Father, with Jesus and with one another.
Jesus, when speaking to Mary Magdalene said, “Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’” (John 20:17).

The apostle Paul expresses it best as he introduces the true God of the Bible: “For even though there are those who are called “gods”, whether in heaven or in earth, just as there are many gods and many lords, there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.” (1 Cor. 8:5-7). It is interesting that Paul references “the Father” and “Jesus Christ,” thus differentiating them from all other “gods” and “lords,” but, missing the perfect opportunity, he fails to mention the Holy Spirit, the supposed third member of the trinity.

What About the Holy Spirit?

Is the Holy Spirit an individual? Is it the third person of the trinity? Well, if it is, then it should have equal share with the Father and Son, shouldn’t it? We are introduced to God’s spirit or active force in Genesis 1:2, “And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
When Gabriel was speaking to Mary about her miraculous conception of Jesus, Gabriel says “This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High and Jehovah God will give him the throne of David his father and he will rule as king over the house of Jacob forever, there will no end of his kingdom” (Luke 1:30-33). Here the Father gives his son a throne but no mention of doing the same with the Holy Spirit. In John 1:1 we see that, in the beginning, there was the Father and the Word. Why wasn’t the Holy Spirit included with them? Note that most Trinitarians use this verse to support their belief in a Trinity. However at most this verse brings into discussion a duality not a trinity.
In Acts 7:55, Stephen looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God and of Jesus standing at His right hand. But he failed to mention the Holy Spirit. If Jesus were at His right hand, wouldn’t the Holy Spirit have been at His left?
During the day of Pentecost, Acts 2:4, 33, shows that “they all became filled with holy spirit.” Were those Christians “filled” with a person? That would not be possible, but they certainly could be filled with active energy, or force emanating from Almighty God.
The Holy Spirit can be described as a force of God. When Jesus was baptized in Matthew 3:16, we see the heavens were opened up and Jesus saw descending like a dove God’s spirit coming upon him.
God’s spirit is something that those serving God receive and are guided by it. 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 states where we “receive not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that have been kindly given us by God.
If the “Godhead” consists of three co-equal persons, the Holy Spirit being the third one, then why didn’t Jesus, the Messiah, call the Holy Spirit His Father? We are told in Matthew 1:20 that Mary’s child was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

By the way... common sense depicts one truth that exposes this Trinitarian error with great ease. If Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Father are ONE SINGLE GOD combined, then riddle me this. Why is it the Father knows the date of the second coming, yet Jesus does not? It's truly that simple! Jesus said plainly in...

  1. Matthew 24:36, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

That passage alone proves Trinitarian theology a deception of the enemy. If Jesus and His Father were "one" as the world defines "one." Then Jesus WOULD know the day and the hour of His return! How can Trinitarian theology answer that? Simple common sense proves the Trinity doctrine is blunt error. Who can we thank for such a doctrine as this? From the mouth of Rome itself, it is proclaimed...

  • The Trinity "is the central doctrine of Catholic faith. Upon it are based all the other teachings of the Church." Handbook For Today's Catholics, p 12.

Trinitarian theology is just another prophetic peek into the doctrines of demons coming from Roman Catholicism, and the Antichrist. Only one that hates the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit would preach such a lie as this. The Godhead theology simply proclaims the Father has a Son that is in direct agreement with Him and His Holy Spirit.
Ellen White put it ever so plainly when she said...

  • "The great Creator assembled the heavenly host, that He might in the presence of all the angels confer special honor upon His Son.... The Father then made known that it was ordained by Himself that Christ His Son, should be equal with Himself; so that wherever was the presence of His Son, it was as His own  presence. The word of the Son was to be obeyed as readily as the word of the  Father. His Son He had invested with authority to command the heavenly host."  - E.G. White, the Story of Redemption, p.13.

Is this no different than a worldly governmental structure? Is this no different than what mankind defines as an "Ambassador of State?" Does not an ambassador have absolute full authority of the Country he represents to proclaim that which his government has sent him to proclaim?

In other words...

  • God the Father is the SUPREME SOVEREIGN of the Universe
  • God the Son is Supreme in AUTHORITY
  • "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." 1 Corinthians 11:3
  • Pioneer M.C. Wilcox: "The Holy Spirit is the mighty energy of the Godhead, the life and power of God flowing out from Him to all parts of the universe, and thus making a living connection between His throne and all creation. As is expressed by another: 'The Holy Spirit is the breath of spiritual life in the soul. The impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ.' It thus makes Christ everywhere present." (Psalm 139:7)
  • The apostle Paul expresses it best as he introduces the true God of the Bible: “For even though there are those who are called “gods”, whether in heaven or in earth, just as there are many gods and many lords, there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.” (1 Cor. 8:5-7)

Nowhere in Scriptures do we see the trinity doctrine confirmed. Nowhere can we see the Godhead merged into one person, or merely one God, or a "god blob." Not a single "line upon line, or precept upon precept" can confirm this righteously.

For those that would say this is belittling Christ in my beliefs, or taking away from His divinity, I would have to say, did not the Father say, "Let US make man in OUR image." If the Father wasn't looking to downgrade Christ or His divinity when He placed Him by His side. Why should I? Jesus Christ is His Father's representative to mankind is He not? He is supreme in authority, He represents the Father's will perfectly. He is the Son of God.

Jesus part of the Godhead perfectly?

I must say, when it comes to validating this truth about the Godhead, one passage found in the book of Hebrews stands as a bright beacon shining clear light on all the passages discussed thus far. It not only helps to solidify the truth in the heart, it boldly proclaims it clear unmistakable expression.

  • Hebrews 1:8-9, "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.  Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."

This verse proves Jesus Christ is considered an absolute separate part of the Godhead. The Father Himself (he saith) is calling His Son, "O God" in this passage. This passage also declares God the Father is the God of Jesus Christ as well when it says, " therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness..." Did you catch that? One God is speaking to the other God, saying that "thy God" has anointed Him, His Son! The wording of this passage makes it so clear that there is more then ONE God in the Godhead thereby blasting the godblob theology completely and utterly out of existence. This passage in Hebrews 1:8,9 proves yet another deception fabricated in Roman theology. The Roman Catholic church states the following regarding the Trinity...

"Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith; Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly. But this is the catholic faith: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in unity...So the Father is God: the Son is God: and the Holy Ghost is God; And yet there are not three Gods; but one God…So are we forbidden by the catholic religion to say, there are three Gods, or three Lords…He therefore that will be saved, must thus think of the Trinity." The Athanasian Creed, quoted in History of the Christian Church, Volume 3, Section 132, page 690-693, by Philip Schaff.

In God there are three persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, equal in all perfections." The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p 31 by Peter Geiermann, C.SS.R., Imprimatur - September 16, 1957.

Rome clearly states they teach and believe the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are "equal in all perfections."

In Hebrews chapter one we found that God the Father was telling God the Son that He is His God. That proves He is more powerful then Jesus, and therefore not "equal in all perfections"as Rome assumes. Stepping back for a moment to look at this one can see that God the Father MUST be more powerful then God the Son because He is His Son's God. So... If we now understand that the "equality issue" is in fact nothing more then a lie of Rome, then we must also agree there is more then ONE God because it is in Hebrews chapter one we learned they lied. Plus, we also have the reality before us that if in fact God the Father is a more powerful God then the God the Son, this means there must be more then ONE God in the Godhead because Hebrews chapter one has just stated there are at least TWO.

As many are already aware, Jesus Christ is in fact God. But what most are unaware of is that Hebrews chapter one declared plainly that Jesus Christ also has a God, and it is His Father! To further verify this fact, did not Jesus cry out to His God from the cross right before He died for our sins?

  • Mark 15:34, "And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
  • Jesus, when speaking to Mary Magdalene said, “Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’” (John 20:17)
  • Mark 10:18 "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God."

The Truth About God

In an attempt to study a subject like this one there are two basic facts we need to bear in mind. The first is  that the Bible, the Holy Scriptures, are the words of God, and are referred to more specifically as, "The written word." The second fact is that Jesus is also called "The Word" (John. 1:1,2,14) and He is referred to more specifically as "The Living Word."

With these two basic facts in mind. Let us look at the deeper aspects of what God has revealed to us about Himself in His own inspired word (2 Tim. 3:16).

In Mark 12:28 the Bible tells of a scribe who came to Jesus with a question. His question was simply this: "Which is the greatest commandment of all?" Jesus responded to his question by quoting Deuteronomy 6:4. In verse 29 Jesus answered him this way:

‘The first of all the commandments is, hear O Israel the Lord our God is one Lord."

Having heard this answer, the scribe said to Jesus,

"Well Master Thou hast said the truth, for there is one God and there is none other but He."

(Mark 12:32)

Jesus said of His Heavenly Father that He was ‘ONE’ singular, and the scribe said He was absolutely correct.

In His last prayer recorded by John in the 17th chapter of the book of John, Jesus made the same declaration, listen to what He said in verse 3:- "And this is Life eternal that they might know Thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent." Jesus did not refer to Himself as God, did He? Jesus called HIS Heavenly Father the ONLY true God, didn’t He? And Jesus made a distinction between Himself and the only true God, didn’t He? Sure He did!

In Matt 19:16,17 there was a rich young ruler who wanted to know what to do to get eternal life so he came to Jesus and he did not call Him by His earthly name. Let’s see how he greeted Jesus, and how Jesus responded. "And behold one came and said unto him, Good Master..." What did he call Jesus? Sure! "GOOD MASTER." And what was Jesus’ response? He (Jesus) said unto him, "why callest Thou me good? There is none good but One that is God!"

This question may really sound strange but let’s answer it anyway. If a couple means two how many does ONE mean? You are probably thinking how strange that question is. One is one, and it cannot be anymore. Right?

Some time ago back in the Old Testament the children of Israel were held as slaves in Egypt for about four hundred years. They were living right in the heart of pagan sun worship, and this corrupted their true concept of God. After delivering them from the Egyptian bondage God had to deal with one of the most insidious falsehoods ever fostered on mankind. So from the top of Mount Sinai He thundered down this command in Loud and clear tones. "Thou shalt have no other Gods before ME." What was the very Last word in that statement! Sure it is "ME" – singular. Read it carefully and make sure it does not say "US" plural.

It is a known fact that the Egyptians were pagan sun worshippers and under the leadership of Nimrod the grandson of Noah they built a city called Babylon (Babel). Nimrod got the people to love him and eventually to worship him as god. His wife Semiramis and her son Tammuz were also worshipped. They were worshipped together as the ‘Heavenly Trio.’ So God had an important message for His people. As they stood at the foot of the mount He told them they had one God and one God only.

Before his death. Moses gathered all the people together and like a father speaking to his children, Moses told them that there was only one way that they could have a long, happy and prosperous life. In Deuteronomy 6:4,5 he says this,

"Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord, and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy might."

Moses wanted the people to understand that our heavenly Father is to get the major portion of our love and affections in order that we may be happy and prosperous. Thus a full understanding of who God is, is very important. Remember the scribe in Mark 12? When Jesus heard his testimony about God, He said to him "Thou art not far from the Kingdom of God." (vs 34) – Likewise in His last prayer in John 17:3, the Lord tells us that eternal life hangs upon our concept of God and our acceptance of Him. In other words it is more than a matter of simply losing your life, here and now. It is a matter of either living eternally or not ever existing again,

Paul understood the truth of scripture that there is only one God, so in writing to the Corinthians, he said this:

"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things and we in Him, and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him"

(1 Cor. 8:6)

In his letter to Timothy Paul says this:

"Now unto the King eternal , immortal invisible, the only wise God, be glory and honour forever and ever amen."

(1 Tim 1:17) He also stated in 1 Tim. 2:5:-

"For them is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

In writing to the Christians at Ephesus Paul told them the same truth about the Father. In Ephesians 4:4–6 he says this:

"There is one body and one spirit even as you are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, ONE GOD and Father of all who is above all and through all and in you all."

Do you know why we have been looking at these Biblical statements? In order for you to grasp the tremendous significance of this widely accepted falsehood, that there are three Gods in one and one God in three. Can you see that it is a concrete fact that our heavenly Father is the foremost being in the entire universe? He is the one supreme Being and from Him comes all life and force. The Bible tells us that God the Father is the only true God... period!

What about Jesus, Who is He?

Let us see the answer God has already given us in one New Testament statement. You will find it in Matt. 3:16,17.

"And Jesus when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water and lo the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him and a voice from heaven saying this is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased."

Who did God say Jesus was! Sure, His Son, right? God’s word has a lot to say about Christ’s true relationship to God. Probably one of the most familiar and most quoted verses in the Bible is John 3:16. Before you start to quote it look at it again and particularly one crucial phrase we usually skim over:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only BEGOTTEN SON. . ." In the original language from which the Bible was translated, the word translated as only begotten also means "only offspring" or "only."

Thus Jesus was the only offspring or seed of God! In the 5th Chapter of John. Jesus says this of Himself in vs. 36:

"1 have greater witness than that of John (the baptist) for the works which the Father has given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me that the Father hath sent me."

He made the same claim He made in vs. 30, which is, "the Father hath sent me."

In the 14th chapter of John. Jesus spake of His departure from this world and His return again. Look at what He says in vs 28:

"ye have heard how I said to you, l go away and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I go unto the Father: For My Father is greater than I."

Add to that what He said in John 14:10:

"I speak not of Myself; but the Father that dwelleth in me. He doeth the work."

Did you grasp those amazing claims Jesus just made? He said that He spoke only the things His heavenly Father taught Him. Another time He said He could do nothing of Himself. But the most amazing thing He said was that the Father was dwelling in Him while He was here on earth!

GOD’S SPIRIT WAS IN HIM!!!

In the divine program and government of God there is an unmistakable chain of command. Unquestionably, God our heavenly Father reigns supreme, and our Lord Jesus Christ stands next to Him. Jesus said, "For my Father is greater than I."

There are two superimportant passages we must Examine before we go any further, because they show clearly when Jesus was brought forth and when He was crowned as equal to God. The first passage is found in the New Testament in Heb. 1:1-5. See if you can picture this overwhelming scene.

"God who at sundry (various) times and in divers (different) manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, By whom also He made the worlds (Look at this next statement); who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person (He looked just like His Father), and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they (God gave His Son an inheritance isn’t that great! Lets see What that inheritance was). For unto which of the angels said He at any time, thou art my son, this DAY have I BEGOTTEN thee?"

Just think beloved that there was a certain specific day when God brought forth His Son .... Way, way back (even though it is impossible to think back that far into the past) God brought forth His Son! There was a time when Christ was not in existence! Way back at sometime far beyond our comprehension and imagination Christ Jesus issued forth from God the Father. Amazing isn’t it,

Continuing with the questions. This question was asked in vs. 6.

"And again I will be to Him a Father and He shall be to Me a Son. And again when he bringeth in the FIRST BEGOTTEN into the world He saith and let all the angels of God worship Him."

At a specific point in time, God the Father brought His Son Christ Jesus right beside Him and told all the angels that now Christ was to be worshipped like Himself. This is proclaiming Christ as Divine and worthy of praise and adoration. Therefore there was a point and time when Christ was set up as equal divinity. Vs. 8 makes this clear: "But unto His Son He saith Thy throne 0 God is forever and ever." It will last forever. Isn’t it amazing how we read something in scripture that was always there and when the truth of it reaches you, it seems new?

There is an astonishing Old Testament passage that is almost a perfect parallel to what we just read in Heb. 1, only this passage goes on to tell us when these thing happened to Christ Jesus. That passage is found in Prov. 8:22-30. Here is what it says,

"The Lord (God the Father) possessed me in the beginning of His way before His works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was"

When did the Father set His Son before the angels of heaven and all the unfallen Universe and tell them that He was now to be worshipped like He Himself was? Sure! Before the earth was created. Let’s continue and we will see this clearly.

"When there was no depths (of the sea) I was brought forth: when there was no fountains (rivers and lakes) abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, was I brought forth."

That is quite clear isn’t it? It was before the creation of the earth. As we read on it becomes more evident that it was before planet earth and our solar system were created.

"While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest parts of the dust of the world, when He prepared the heavens (surrounding our planet) I was there. When He set a compass upon the face of the deep, when he established the clouds above, when He strengthened the fountains of the deep; when He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not pass His commandment; when We appointed the foundations of the earth: then I was by Him, (watch this) as one brought up with Him and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him." (Prov. 8:22-31)

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ declares that He existed before He came to this earth. We know that, because He said so several times in the New Testament. But in this passage He takes us back to the time He was BEGOTTEN. Look again at what He said:

"Then I was by Him as one brought up with Him and I was daily His delight rejoicing always before Him."

God’s word establishes the fact that there is only one supreme being. One God over and above all. It clearly tells us that God brought forth a Son and He came into being through His Father’s omnipotent miraculous powers. Therefore the Son has not been in existence as long as His Father, because naturally the Father is always older than His Son.

THE MISSING THIRD PERSON

To come to a full understanding of this tremendous truth, that God is inspiring humans to re-discover in these closing days of time, Let’s look first at a strange and puzzling revelation. In Matt 25:31 Jesus says:

"When the Son of man shall come in all His glory and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory."

Add to that text Rev 3:21 which says,

"To Him that overcometh will 1 grant to sit with Me in My throne even as I also overcame and am set down with My Father in His throne"

So far you have seen that God has a throne and His Son has a throne. NO ONE ELSE!!

There are two reminders of this fact in the last book of the Bible, Revelation. In chapter 21:22, 23 we read:

"And 1 saw no temple therein for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb (Jesus Christ) are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun neither of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God did lighten it and the Lamb is the light thereof."

There was no temple, sun or moon, because God and His Son were there! Of course you will realize that the term Lamb is a symbolic term for Jesus who was slain as a lamb for you and me. OK! In Rev. 22:1,3 John says:

"And he showed me a pure river of water of life clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. And there shall be no more curse; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it."

This is so strange at first because there is nowhere in the entire Bible that tells of any one else having a throne in heaven but God and His Son!! Then it is even more strange when you cannot find any dignitaries on the new earth except God, His Son, the faithful angels and the redeemed. There is someone missing, Isn’t there? I mean if the doctrine of the Trinity is correct, then there must be another throne for the third God or even if He doesn’t have a throne He should even be mentioned as being in heaven or on the new earth!!

According to the scripture Satan has always wanted to be leader in heaven and in all the universe. God quoted Lucifer’s evil ambitions in Isaiah 14:14, "1 will be Like the Most High." And one of the most dangerous blasphemous Lies ever to be fostered on the unsuspecting people of planet earth is the one designed to place Satan in that position where he fulfills his obsessions to be like God! Let me explain: When the Roman Catholic church made real compromises with the pagan Romans, in order to get them to become Christians they allowed those sun worshippers to became members and still cling to their beliefs. Gradually the church changed many of its own beliefs and modified them so the pagan worshippers would be more comfortable. One of the most drastic alterations of true Christianity was the acceptance of the pagan concept of three Gods in one and one God in three persons. The sun worshippers had Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz, as a pagan Trinity, so it was easy for them to accept, God the Father, God the Son, and (Watch this) God the Holy Spirit!!! Satan had a trinity and now the Catholic Church has a trinity which she has established in every denomination and religious body.

Nowhere in scripture will you find it even hinting that there are three separate distinct Gods. The Bible does not suggest that there were three individuals involved in the creation of the world! John 1:10 and Heb. 1:2 and many other passages makes it clear that there were two and just two: God the Father and Jesus Christ His Son.

If that sounds really wayout, then let’s consider the facts. The book is St. John and the place is chapter 14. May I say this is one of the most reassuring statements Jesus made to us before He left earth to go back to heaven. In this passage Jesus said some things that the vast majority of Christians have missed for centuries! John 14:16 reads this way,

"And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever."

Who did Jesus say will live with us forever? Was it the Comforter, or was it Christ, the Comforter, lets see the answer. Vs. 17.

"Even the Spirit of Truth: whom the world cannot receive because it seeth Him not neither knoweth Him. But ye know him, for (or because) He dwelleth with you (present) and shall be in you (future)."

Wait a minute! Did you see that friend? Who did the disciples know then? Pentecost had not yet come. Who was dwelling with them? Wasn’t it Jesus? Sure it was! Now if that is not clear enough, look at verse 18: "I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you." Man that’s strong!!! Now you see, don’t you? Jesus said He would be the Comforter. Thus the Comforter would simply be the INVISIBLE CHRIST that would be in them.

The reason why the Bible speaks of Jesus and the Holy Ghost as one, and the same, is because they are really the same. Here is further proof. In Hebrews 3:7-11, you will find the same author talking about the Holy Ghost leading the children of Israel through the wilderness. Yet you know that it was Jesus Christ. Paul goes on to quote Jesus and contributes it to the Holy Spirit. In Romans 8:9 Paul brings out a stunning truth. Here it is:

"But ye art not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the SPIRIT OF GOD dwell in you. Now if any man have not the SPIRIT OF CHRIST he is none of His."

God’s word said that the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ are the same.

Because of this fact an amazing explanation explodes before us. The reason why we find the term "Holy Spirit" is simply because God and Christ Jesus are Holy. It is their Spirit, so you have the term "Holy Spirit". Remember John 20:22? Jesus came to His disciples and did something. Let us see what He did:

"And when He (Jesus) had said this. He breathed on them (the disciples) and said receive ye the Holy Ghost."

They did receive Christ’s Spirit, didn’t they! David asked the Lord a question and went on to answer. In Psalm 139:7-10 you’ll find this recorded:

"Whither shall I go from Thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from Thy presence?"

David said the Lord’s Spirit is the same as His presence.

"If I ascend up into heaven thou art there; If I make my bed in hell behold thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall Thy hand lead me and thy right hand shall hold me."

Therefore the Spirit of God is His real, tangible, personal presence.

In Jeremiah 23:23,24 God says He can be right here with us in a personal way and be in heaven, all at the same time.

"Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Saith the Lord."

Therefore, God can pour out His Spirit on any believer anywhere in the entire universe. His Spirit guides, impresses and convicts human beings just as strongly as if He were present physically and visibly.

All through the scriptures we read of the Spirit of God and of the Spirit of Christ. If the Holy Spirit was a real tangible God as the Father and His Son, why do we not read of the Spirit of the Spirit? Think about that!!!

Therefore the disciples could not realize the presence of the Holy Spirit as long as Jesus was with them. But when He went away, the Spirit came. This made Jesus present with everyone everywhere. Jesus could now be with one individual in one city, and with another believer in another city in another country all at the same time. Let me put it another way. Christ Jesus is our personal Saviour. Where ever we may be He will go with us. He is also the Comforter He promised to send to us from the Father. Only it is another form of Himself.

Satan through the Catholic Church has sold to the world a counterfeit sanctuary service; a counterfeit salvation and a counterfeit holy day of rest and worship. DON’T LET HIM SELL YOU A COUNTERFEIT COMFORTER !!! And don’t sell yourself out to him through the false doctrine of the TRINITY.

THE GODHEAD

By now you probably have seen enough Bible facts to have a solid foundation of faith, and you probably have also come to the realization that there is absolutely no such doctrine as the "TRINITY" in the Bible. So then you are now ready to discover the truth about a widely used term "THE GODHEAD." In the entire Bible you’ll find this word mentioned just three times. Let’s look at all three briefly.

The first is Acts 17:29.

"For as much then as we are the offspring of God we ought not to think that the GODHEAD is like unto gold, or silver, or stone graven by art and man’s device."

The second is Romans 1:20.

"For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made even His eternal power and GODHEAD."

The third is Col. 2:9.

"For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily."

Now please answer this question. Were those passages talking about three Gods in one and one God in three? Before you answer, examine this fact: In each one of those passages where the word GODHEAD is found, it comes from the Greek root word THEOS. And THEOS simply means Divinity, Divine, Divine Nature, or Deity. From this word THEOS, we get the word theology which means the study of Divinity. When you examine those three verses you find that they are all talking about God, the Father, the Supreme Deity. And the plain simple truth is that the Father is the GODHEAD. That’s what Paul says in 1 Cor. 11:3.

"But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ and the head of the woman is the man, and (Watch this) the HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD."

Therefore God the Father is the Godhead. His Divinity dwells in Christ.

Thus the plan of salvation can be summed up in two scripture passages.

The first is 2 Cor. 5:19

". . .God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself."

The second Col. 1:27

" ... Christ in you the hope of glory."

Beloved you are faced with a decision of eternal consequences. Will you obey the word of God or the word of man? Surely you will accept the word of God and reject this false satan-inspired, man-made Trinity doctrine. WONT YOU?

Conclusion

Are Christians to believe that centuries after Christ and after having inspired the writing of the Bible, God would back the formulation of a doctrine that was unknown to his servants for thousands of years, one that is an “inscrutable (difficult to fathom or understand) mystery” “beyond the grasp of human reason,” one that admittedly had a pagan background and was “largely a matter of church politics”?
It is claimed that several scriptures support the Trinity. However when carefully examined they offer no actual support. We must ask ourselves: Does the interpretation harmonize with the consistent teaching of the entire Bible? If not, then the interpretation must be in error. The Bible, God’s inspired word, does not contradict itself. We also need to keep in mind that not even one scripture in the Bible exactly states that all three are the same in substance, power and eternity.
From the New Testament, we find ample evidence of an apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2:3) having occurred, pulling believers away from the truth. Notice the many warnings about false apostles and a false movement that already existed in the first century and that was threatening the true teachings of Christ. Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 4:1-3 “that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons, by the hypocrisy of men who speak lies.” 2 Corinthians 11:13, 14“such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.” We are told, “do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.” (1 John 4:1)

So it behooves us to “keep testing our faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5), and “carefully examining the Scriptures” (Acts 17:11) thoroughly to see if the teachings we believe are in full harmony with God’s word or are they based on the traditions of men. Lovers of truth will not fear such an examination.

Questions for Trinitarians to Examine

Matt. 3:17 “Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: ‘This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.’” Q: Who approved of whom? How does this verse suggest the two mentioned here are the same God, or equal?
Matt. 26:39,42 “…My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will. …let your will take place.Q: If Jesus were Almighty God, or equal to Him, why would Jesus have any need to pray? Would it be possible to have two separate wills, since Jesus said, not his will, but God’s will should take place? How do you reconcile that if they are both the same, or part of the same, God?
Luke 22:29 “And I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom.” Since a covenant is a solemn promise between two parties, one does not make a covenant with oneself. Q: Since there is no mention of the Holy Spirit here, how does the Holy Spirit tie into this covenant? On which part of the covenant would the Holy Spirit be, on the Father’s side, or on the side of Jesus?
Luke 23:46 “…Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” This expression helps us to understand that Jesus really did die. Q: If Jesus is part of the same God, or if Jesus IS God, then why didn’t the Father (and the Spirit) die too? How could just part of one God die and not the rest of that one God? The Athanasian Creed states that all three are “equal in eternity” meaning that all three are “from everlasting to everlasting”. If Jesus died, but God (and the Spirit) didn’t die, how could they be “equal in eternity” since there were parts of three days that Jesus did not exist, yet God (and His Spirit) did?
John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Exercise faith in God, exercise faith also in me.” Q: Why would Jesus say to exercise faith in him directly after he had said to exercise faith in God, if Jesus IS God? Doesn’t that seem redundant? If Jesus is God, then why does Jesus make a distinction here between “God” and then “me”? And, why doesn’t Jesus say to exercise faith in the Holy Spirit?
Col 1:3 “We thank God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…” Q: Does Paul include Jesus or the Holy Spirit in the word “God” (as in the Trinity)? If so, why does Paul go on to mention Jesus Christ as God’s Son?

1 John 5:5 “Who is the one that conquers the world but he who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God?” Q: Isn’t that clear? Are those that conquer this world those who have faith that Jesus is the Son of God?

How the Trinity Doctrine Took Over the Adventist Church

The Trinity doctrine did not exist in the SDA Church from its inception.  It was not a doctrine at all during Ellen G. White’s lifetime to her death in 1915.

The pioneers of the SDA Church, R.F. Cottrell, Sr., and Jr., D.T. Bordeau, D.M. Canright, J.N. Andrews, Loughborough, John Matteson, A.C. Bordeau, A.T. Jones, W.W. Prescott, E.G. White, James White, and Uriah Smith, were all in agreement that it was that “old Trinitarian absurdity” perpetrated from Rome.  The Apostle Paul saluted the brethren, “Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ,” Romans 1:7.  Paul was no Trinitarian!  Adventist P.S. Cottrell wrote in the July 6, 1869, issue of Review & Herald, “ To hold to the doctrine of the Trinity is not so much an evidence of evil intention as of intoxication from that wine of which all nations have drunk.  The fact that it was one of the leading doctrines, if not the very chief, upon which the bishop of Rome was exalted to the popedom, does not say much in its favor . . . .  This should cause men to investigate it for themselves, as when the spirits of devils working miracles undertake the advocacy of the immortality of the soul.”

In 1931, after the death of anti-Trinitarian pioneer Uriah Smith, the SDA Church attracted Trinitarians, who began promoting their doctrines, while falsely accusing the pioneers of being “Arian,” claiming that Arius taught that “the Holy Spirit was a creation of the Son.”  In 1946, in the book, Evangelism, editors LeRoy Edwin Froom and Roy Allen Anderson compiled E.G. White’s statements removed from their original context, and intentionally inserted the word “Trinity” in subtitles, to advance the Trinity doctrine, even though she and all the pioneers were anti-Trinitarian.  Perhaps it was a coincidence, but Froom wrote his book after a return from a trip to the Vatican.  Ex-Jesuit priest Alberto Rivera testified on video that the Jesuit Order was instructed by the Black Pope to infiltrate the SDA Church, and bring it over to Rome.

The Trinity Doctrine is essential to unification of all Churches under Rome.  As Roman Catholic Graham Greene wrote, “Our opponents sometimes claim that no belief should be held dogmatically which is not explicitly stated in scripture . . . .  But the Protestant Churches have themselves accepted such dogmas, as the Trinity, for which there no such precise authority in the Gospels,” (“Assumption of Mary,” Life magazine, October 30, 1950, p. 51).

In 1958, the Trinity was unofficially introduced into the Church when the book, Questions On Doctrine, was published at the request of evangelicals Barnhouse and Martin, who were preparing to write their book, Kingdom of the Cults, and call the SDA Church a “cult,” until the SDA Church leaders quickly changed SDA doctrines.  This avoided the stigma of being labeled a “cult,” as Barnhouse and Martin would label all anti-Trinitarians.

In 1968, the SDA Church officially joined the World Council of Churches and National Council of Churches, which require every church to include the Trinity in their statement of beliefs in order to become member churches.

In 1981, SDA General Conference President, Neal C. Wilson, announced to the General Conference meeting in Dallas, Texas, that the Church had officially adopted the Trinity doctrine, which was now #2 in the Church’s “27 Fundamental Beliefs.”  Wilson said, “There is another universal and truly catholic organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church,” (Adventist Review, March 5, 1981, p. 3).

What exactly is wrong with the Mystery Trinity god?
  1. James White was editor of the Review and Herald in 1861. In November of that year, he published J. N. Loughborough’s answer to the question, "what serious objection is there to the doctrine of the trinity?"Loughborough replied: There are many objections which we might urge, but on account of our limited space we shall reduce them to the following: 1. It is contrary to common sense. 2. It is contrary to Scripture. 3. It’s origin is Pagan and fabulousReview and Herald, XVIII (November 5, 1861), 184
  2. God: In John 17:3 it says “And this is LIFE ETERNAL, that they might know thee THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
  3. The Son of God was next in authority to the great Lawgiver. He knew that His life alone could be sufficient to ransom fallen man. (Ellen White, Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 2, page 9, also in Lift Him Up, page 24)
  4. Satan’s position in heaven had been next to the Son of God. He was first among the angels.(Ellen White, Selected Messages, book 1, page 341)
  5. Satan, the chief of the fallen angels, once had an exalted position in Heaven. He was next in honor to Christ.(Ellen White, Review & Herald, February 24, 1874)
  6. Speaking of Satan, our Lord says that “he abode not in the truth.” He was once the covering cherub, glorious in beauty and holiness. He was next to Christ in exaltation and character. It was with Satan that self-exaltation had its origin. He became jealous of Christ, and falsely accused him, and then laid blame upon the Father. He was envious of the position that was held by Christ and the Father, and he turned from his allegiance to the Commander of heaven and lost his high and holy estate. (Ellen White, Review & Herald, October 22, 1895)
  7. The God of heaven saw it fit to establish the Advent movement on a solid foundation of truth. This foundation included a correct understanding of who He is. The Advent band was not left to wander through the multiplied delusions of the spiritualizers. From the earliest visions God assured His children of the reality of His being. “I have often seen the lovely Jesus, that He is a person. I asked Him if His Father was a person and had a form like Himself. Said Jesus, “I am in the express image of My Father’s person.” I have often seen that the spiritual view took away all the glory of heaven […]” {E.G. White, Early Writings, p. 77}

Satan was jealous of the postion of God the father and Christ the son of God alone.

  1. Jesus: The only begotten Son of God: The Father-Son relationship is not literal. To make the Son absolutely co-equal with His Father eliminates all possibility of the one being begotten of the other. That which is presented to humanity as the measure of God's love for us - namely the sacrifice of His only begotten Son for our sakes is all but nullified if Jesus is not truly and literally the begotten Son of God.According to the Mystery Trinity god, Jesus did not truly die. If Jesus is absolutely co-equal with "the blessed and only Potentate Who only hath immortality" (1 Tim. 6:15,16), who absolutely cannot die, then Jesus did not truly die, but continued to live on some different plane while appearing to be dead. This would make all our professions about death and resurrection of Christ mere vanity and illusion. The Trinity denies the most fundamental tenets of the gospel and therefore cannot be reasonably held as a foundation on which the gospel is based. The biblical basis of the gospel is that Jesus is the Son of God (Matt. 16:16-18). “The way spiritualizers have disposed of or denied the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ is first using the old unscriptural Trinitarian creed.” (James White, January 24, 1846, The Day Star) “Some will tend to resist this doctrine (the trinity) because it is not found expressly stated in the scriptures.” Adventist Review Aug 20 1993 P-8  We cannot accept the idea of a trinity, as it is held by Trinitarians, without giving up our claim on the dignity of the sacrifice made for our redemption.
  1. God’s Holy Spirit or God the Holy Spirit? Finally, the identity of the Holy Spirit will be established. Unlike the Trinity concept which holds the Holy Spirit as a co-equal person who is distinct from Christ, the Bible identifies the Holy Spirit as the glorified manifestation in which Jesus would return to be with His followers. The Greek word (Parakletos) which is translated Comforter (John 14:16) is the same Greek word (Parakletos) which is translated Advocate (1 John 2:1). Thus, the one who is theComforter is the same one who is our Advocate who promised "I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world" (Matt. 28:20) and is the same one who offers to live in human hearts, saying "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock" (Rev. 3:20). Accordingly, Jesus said "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (John 14:18). As Ellen White puts it, “.... The Holy Spirit is Himself (Christ) divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent.” {14MR 23.3} Nowhere in the entire Bible that tells of any one else having a throne in heaven but God and His Son!! God quoted Lucifer’s evil ambitions in Isaiah 14:14, "I will be Like the Most High." And one of the most dangerous blasphemous Lies ever to be fostered on the unsuspecting people of planet earth is the one designed to place Satan in that position where he fulfills his obsessions to be like God! Satan had a trinity and now the Catholic Church has a trinity which she has established in every denomination and religious body.Nowhere in scripture will you find it even hinting that there are three separate distinct Gods. The Bible does not suggest that there were three individuals involved in the creation of the world! John 1:10 and Heb. 1:2 and many other passages makes it clear that there were two and just two: God the Father and Jesus Christ His Son. If that sounds really way out, then let’s consider the facts. The book is St. John and the place is chapter 14. May I say this is one of the most reassuring statements Jesus made to us before He left earth to go back to heaven. In this passage Jesus said some things that the vast majority of Christians have missed for centuries! John 14:16 reads this way, "And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever." Who did Jesus say will live with us forever? Was it the Comforter, or was it Christ, the Comforter, lets see the answer. Vs. 17. "Even the Spirit of Truth: whom the world cannot receive because it seeth Him not neither knoweth Him. But ye know him, for (or because) He dwelleth with you (present) and shall be in you (future)."  Wait a minute! Here it is:  "But ye art not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the SPIRIT OF GOD dwell in you. Now if any man have not the SPIRIT OF CHRIST he is none of His." God’s word said that the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ are the same. Let us see what He did: "And when He (Jesus) had said this. He breathed on them (the disciples) and said receive ye the Holy Ghost." They did receive Christ’s Spirit, didn’t they! David asked the Lord a question and went on to answer. In Psalm 139:7-10 you’ll find this recorded: "Whither shall I go from Thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from Thy presence?" David said the Lord’s Spirit is the same as His presence. "If I ascend up into heaven thou art there; If I make my bed in hell behold thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall Thy hand lead me and thy right hand shall hold me." Therefore the Spirit of God is His real, tangible, personal presence. Saith the Lord." Therefore, God can pour out His Spirit on any believer anywhere in the entire universe. The holy spirit is not a person; it is God's active force.-Genesis 1:2; Acts 2:18.

  1. Trinitarian Problem With Father Of Jesus: DID JESUS HAVE TWO FATHERS? BIBLE ANSWER: "Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." Matthew 1:20. ( Who's the Father? The "God Father" or "God the Holy Spirit"? Are there *two* Fathers in the Trinity?)

CAN GOD DIE? The doctrine of the Trinity presents another dilemma if we believe that God is a person of honesty and truth. The Scriptures teach that God is immortal. (1Tim.6:16) This means that He cannot die. This immortality of God, is not a quality which He can put on and take off. It is an essential aspect of His being. His immortality is not like that of unfallen angels, a conditional thing. In referring to the immortality of God we are speaking of an absolute thing. He absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, die."Who ONLY hath immortality ..." (1 Tim.6:16) Other beings are immortal, but He alone has immortality in the absolute sense. He can never ever be mortal, or be made to die.Yet the Scriptures teach that Jesus died for us! (Romans 5:6-8). Here is a dilemma indeed. God cannot die, yet Jesus did die. The Scriptures clearly teach both things. Let us look at the alternatives open to us in viewing this seeming contradiction. Either: 1. Jesus did not really die. Or 2. Jesus is not God (the one who only hath immortality). In Matthew 4:10 (KJV) we read:”  Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.”  1 Corinthians 8:4 "THERE IS NONE OTHER GOD BUT ONE.” Isaiah 45:5 says "I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:" (God, loves and takes care of us even though we have been tricked by our leaders, now we know and have to take steps to worship the ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD, if we want to be in Heaven.) Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"  The apostle Paul expresses it best as he introduces the true God of the Bible: “For even though there are those who are called “gods”, whether in heaven or in earth, just as there are many gods and many lords, there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.” (1 Cor. 8:5-7). The BIBLE says Jesus said in John 20:17 (KJV) “Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

“The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result! The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. (Selected Messages bk.1, page 204)

 “I entreat every one to be clear and firm regarding the certain truths that we have heard and received and advocated. The statements of God's Word are plain. Plant your feet firmly on the platform of eternal truth. Reject every phase of error, even though it be covered with a semblance of reality, which denies the personality of God and of Christ.” {RH, August 31, 1905 par. 11}

"The Father was greater than the Son in that he was first. The Son was equal with the Father in that he had received all things from the Father." Ibid, 1881   "who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption" 1 Cor 1:30. If only the "human side" of Jesus died, What did God really sacrifice?

To believe the Trinity doctrine, when reading the scripture we must believe that God sent himself into the world, died to reconcile the world to himself, raised himself from the dead, ascended to himself in heaven, pleads before himself in heaven to reconcile the world to himself, and is the only mediator between man and himself. It will not do to substitute the human nature of Christ (according to Trinitarians) as the Mediator; for Clarke says, “Human blood can no more appease God than swine’s blood.” Com. on 2 Sam. 21:10. We must believe also that in the garden God prayed to himself, if it were possible, to let the cup pass from himself, and a thousand other such absurdities.

Those who say that Jesus is God (the God), have no alternative but to say that Jesus did not really die. In other words, what happened at Calvary was only a play; just an acted drama (what blasphemy!). Others seek to find some compromise in saying that the "divine part" of Christ did not die, but only the human part. However, this presents us with an even greater abomination, because what we are left with is nothing but a human sacrifice! Something which could never atone for the sins of the world.

Jesus was not a human being before He came to this earth. But when He came here, He became fully a human being in every sense. All that He retained of His God-nature, was His character of infinite love and compassion. His power, His knowledge, He laid aside completely and lived in total dependence on His Father. However, the Trinitarians say that He only took a HUMAN SIDE when He came to earth. In other words, He had two personalities. One, His personality as God and the other, His personality as a human being. Many claim that when Jesus died, His human side died, but that He still continued to live as God even though He was supposed to be dead. This of course would have to be true if Jesus is truly the supreme God, for the supreme God is immortal, and cannot die.

Yet, if this is true; if all that died on Calvary was the "human side" of Jesus, then we must ask the question, what did God really sacrifice at Calvary? According to this doctrine, the "human side" of Jesus was really something created when He was conceived in Mary's womb. Something which came into being two thousand years ago. The divine side of Jesus, the immortal God-part did not really die. What we have then, is a situation in which God did not really make a sacrifice at Calvary, but rather created a being who paid the price on His behalf. A most abominable and glaringly false idea.

The truth is that Jesus, the Son of God, did truly die. Did pass into the unconscious, senseless, unknowing sleep of death. He did feel the darkness of death, black and unfathomable stealing upon His soul when He prayed that the cup might pass from Him. He did experience, truly, the agony and uncertainty of genuine separation from God. He died, because He could die. He was mortal. He could die, because He is not the one and only God who "hath immortality". This immortal one, "no man hath seen, not can see," He dwelleth "in the light which no man can approach unto." (1 Tim.6:16).Jesus is a divine Being. There is no question of that. It is obvious that every Son takes the nature of His Father, so if the nature of the father is divine (having the qualities of God) then it is evident that the Son also is divine. This is why John 1:1 says:"In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God (the God. gr.) and the word was God (divine)."

Yet, the word "God" also carries with it the idea of the one absolute, supreme Being in the universe. In this sense, there is only One who is God. Not three. This one God is the Father. The One who gave His Son to die. This is the testimony of the Scriptures over and over again (1 Cor. 8:6; 1 Cor. 11:3; 1 Tim. 2:5; 1 Cor. 15:24-28).

All the authority and power which belong to God have been given to His Son (Col.2:9; Matt. 28:18). Yet, these do not belong to Jesus inherently. They have been given to Him by God, (1 John 5:26; Col.1:19) and the day will come when the controversy is finally over and then the Son will be subject to the Father, that God may be all in all (1 Cor. 15:28).

In closing, I would like to ask the question again: "Did God's Son really die for me?" How do you answer this question? This is the central point of the whole gospel. Undoubtedly, this point, above all others, is the focus of Satan's attack. When we see how these truths have been subtly, but effectively nullified over the ages, it becomes clear that Satan's efforts have been highly successful.

Here is what the Trinity is about :

At the Council of Nicea (325 AD), the Second Person was declared to be consubstantial with the Father, where the term homo-ousios became the consecrated word for expressing perfect numerical identity of nature between the Father and His Son who became incarnate.

But Nicea did not settle the controversy. Speculators, especially in the Near East, insisted on probing and rationalizing the Trinity so that in 382 AD Pope St. Damasus called a council at Rome in which he summarized the main errors up to his time. Called the Tome of Damasus, this collection of anathemas is a series of definitions on the Trinity that to this day are models of clarity. Twenty-four in number, a sample from the collection again reflects the Church’s perennial faith:

If anyone denies that the Father is eternal, that the Son is eternal, and that the Holy Spirit is eternal: he is a heretic.
If anyone says that the Son made flesh was not in heaven with the Father while He was on earth: he is a heretic.
If anyone denies that the Holy Spirit has all power and knows all things, and is everywhere, just as the Father and the Son: he is a heretic.

The most extensive declaration of the Church’s teaching on the Trinity was made at the Eleventh Synod of Toledo in Spain (675 AD). It is a mosaic of texts drawn from all the preceding doctrines of the Church. Its purpose was to assemble as complete a list of doctrinal statements as possible, in view of the still prevalent errors in nominally Christian circles, and (providentially) in view of the rise of Islam which struck with particular vehemence against the Iberian peninsula. Since the main target of Moslem opposition to Christianity was the Koranic claim that Christians were idolaters because they adored Christ as God, it is instructive to see how the faithful were prepared to resist the Moslem Unitarianism by a clear declaration of their own belief in the Triune God. The full text of doctrine at Toledo runs to over two thousand words. Only a few lines will be given to illustrate the tone:

We confess and we believe that the holy and indescribable Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one only God in His nature, a single substance, a single nature, a single majesty and power.
We acknowledge Trinity in the distinction of persons; we profess Unity because of the nature or substance. The three are one, as a nature, that is, not as person. Nevertheless, these three persons are not to be considered separable, since we believe that no one of them existed or at any time effected anything before the other, after the other, or without the other.

Two general councils of the Church formulated the faith in the Trinity in specific creeds, namely the Fourth Lateran and the Council of Florence.

The focus of Fourth Lateran was twofold, to reaffirm the faith in the face of the Albigensian heresy and to defend it against the vagaries of Abbot Joachim.

Since the Albigenses were Manichaens, for whom there were two ultimate sources of the universe, one a good principle and the other an evil one, Lateran declared the absolute oneness of God, who is at the same time Triune:

We firmly believe and profess without qualification that there is only one true God, eternal, immense, unchangeable, incomprehensible, omnipotent, and indescribable, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; three persons but one essence and a substance or nature that is wholly simple.
The Father is from no one; the Son is from the Father only; and the Holy Spirit is from both the Father and the Son equally. God has no beginning; He always is, and always will be. The Father is the progenitor, the Son is the begotten, the Holy Spirit is proceeding. They are all one substance, equally great, equally all-powerful, equally eternal. They are the one and only principle of all things—Creator of all things visible and invisible, spiritual and corporeal, who, by His almighty power, from the very beginning of time has created both orders of creatures in the same way out of nothing, the spiritual or angelic worlds and the corporeal or visible universe.

Abbot Joachim had a plurality of gods. In his effort to explain how the persons in the Trinity are distinct, he made them so separate that he ended up making them separate deities. Joachim’s problem was transferring what happens in human generation, when something of the parent goes over to the offspring, and is thereby distinct. He pressed the analogy too far and fell into error.

In response to this, the Fourth Lateran Council used the most technical language to insist that there is no division in God just because there is a distinction of persons:

The Father in eternally begetting the Son gave Him His own substance as the Son Himself testifies, “What my Father has given me is greater than all.” But it cannot be said that He gave Him part of His substance, and retained part for Himself, because the substance of the Father is indivisible, since it is altogether simple. Neither can one say that the Father transferred His own substance in generation to the Son, as though He gave it to the Son in such a way that He did not retain it for Himself; otherwise He would cease to be a substance.

The situation at the Council of Florence (1442 AD) was different. Here the need was to state the constant teaching of the Church with a view to reuniting the Eastern and Western Churches, separated by the Eastern Schism.

One feature of Florence, however, that needed to be clarified was brought about by the addition to the Nicene Creed of the expression Filioque, i.e. “and from the Son,” which Rome had approved. The Roman Creed now read, “the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.” The Easterners were uncomfortable with the addition, saying that Rome had tampered with a general council. The issue at stake was the true divinity of the Holy Spirit and the true divinity of the Second Person. Consequently, the Council of Florence, in the long Trinitarian Creed that it issued, stated as follows:

The Father is entirely in the Son and entirely in the Holy Spirit; the Son is entirely in the Father and entirely in the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is entirely in the Father and entirely in the Son. None of the persons precedes any of the others in eternity, nor does any have greater immensity or greater power. From eternity, without beginning, the Son is from the Father; and from eternity and without beginning, the Holy Spirit has proceeded from the Father and the Son.

Human language could not be clearer, and there the faith of the Church stands to day and will until the end of time. Since the Council of Florence, popes and councils have simply drawn on the elaborate and absolutely unambiguous teaching of Sacred Tradition to offer the faithful for acceptance what is at once the glory of Catholic Christianity and its greatest revealed mystery.

One of the most cherished ideas of the pagans, absorbed by the Christians, was that of the trinity of Gods. The savior whom the entire Christian world worships at this time is nothing more than the continuation of the pagan trinity. The fact that this doctrine did not officially become formulated until centuries after Yahshua's death, attests to the fact that this doctrine does not come from Yahweh's Laws and prophets.

The New Bible Dictionary, 2nd edition by J.D. Douglass, page 1221, admits that the doctrine of the trinity does not come from the Scriptures, but from philosphy influenced by paganism.

TRINITY. The word Trinity is not found in the Bible, and though used by Tertullian in the last decade of the 2nd century, it did not find a place formally in the theology of the church till the 4th century. It is, however, the distinctive and all-comprehensive doctrine of the Christian faith. It makes three affirmations: that there is but one God, that the Father, the Son, and the Spirit is each God, and that the Father, the Son, and the Spirit is each a distinct Person. In this form it has become the faith of the church since it received its first full formulation at the hands of Tertullian Athanasius and Augustine.

The Encyclopedia Britannica, Micropedia Volume 11, page 928, gives us the following facts about the trinity.

TRINITY, in Christian doctrine, the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead. Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" (Deuteronomy 6:4). The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies.

The Abingdon Dictionary of Living Religions, page 767, tells us:

TRINITY (Ch). The Dogma, formulated authoritatively in fourth century church Councils, that Christians worship one God in three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and one substance.
Under pressure to explain to a hostile Roman world how Christians counted themselves monotheists, Christian apologists (notably Justin Martyr, d. 165) combinedJohannine and Stoic-Platonic understanding of the term Logos ("Reason," or "Word") in order to maintain that the Son was both God's own self-expression and a being distinct from him.

We see that the term logos was defined by the Christians according to the interpretations of pagan influenced philosophers in order to promote a false pagan God-savior in the Encyclopedia Britannica, Volume 7, page 449.

LOGOS (Greek:"word,"reason, or plan"), plural logoi, in Greek philosophy and theology, the divine reason implicit in the cosmos, ordering it and giving it form and meaning.Though the concept defined by the term logos is found in Greek, Indian, Egyptian, and Persian philosophical and theological systems, it became particularly significant in Christian writings and doctrines to describe or define the role of Jesus Christ as the principle of God active in the creation and the continuation structuring of the cosmos and in revealing the divine plan of salvation to man. It thus underlies the basic Christian doctrine of the pre-existence of Jesus.

The identification of Jesus with the logos was further developed in the early church but more on the basis of Greek philosophical ideas than on Old Testament motifs.

The Religions of Ancient Greece and Babylonia, by A. H. Sayce. pages 229-230, clearly tells us that the Greek philosophical ideas were developed in Alexandria, Egypt from the pagan mystery religions.

Many of the theories of Egyptian religion, modified and transformed no doubt, have penetrated into the theology of Christian Europe, and form, as it were, part of the woof in the web of modern religious thought. Christian theology was largely organized and nurtured in the schools of Alexandria, and Alexandria was not only the meetingplace of East and West, it was also the place where the decrepit theology of Egypt was revivified by contact with the speculative philosophy of Greece.
Perhaps, however, the indebtedness of Christian theological theory to ancient Egyptian dogma is nowhere more striking than in the doctrine of the Trinity. The very terms used of it by Christian theologians meet us again in the inscriptions and papyri of Egypt.
Originally the trinity was a triad like those we find in Babylonian mythology. The triad consisted of a divine father, wife, and son.
The father became the son and the son the father through all time, and of both alike the mother was but another form.

The Outline of History, by H. G. Wells. page 307, tells us:

The trinity consisted of the god Serapis (=Osiris+Apis), the goddess Isis (=Hathor, the cow-moon goddess), and the child-god Horus. In one way or another almost every other god was identified with one or other of these three aspects of the one god, even the sun god Mithras of the Persians. And they were each other; they were three, but they were also one.

I.H.S - The Pagan Trinity and Monogram of the name Jesus H. Christ

Pagan Rome worshipped Isis, Horus, and Seb. The round disk wafer IHS symbol of Isis, Horus, Seb, was eaten as food for the soul.  This was integrated into Christianity as The wafer used in the eucharist is round with IHS engraved on it.  And this pagan Trinity of Isis, Horus, Seb was represented by IHS which was then made the Christogram for Jesus Christ.

The Outline of History, by H. G. Wells. page 307, tells us:

The trinity consisted of the god Serapis (=Osiris+Apis), the goddess Isis (=Hathor, the cow-moon goddess), and the child-god Horus. Here is Pope John Paul II holding what is called a Monstrance or Ostensorium. It is used to display a round wafer of bread, called the host, which is used in what is called the Mass, Lord's Supper, Communion or Eucharistic meal. The Catholic believes this wafer of bread turns into the actual body of Christ when consecrated during the Mass.

The priest (here the Pope) sometimes holds up the sunburst monstrance with the host encased for the congregation to adore and venerate. Virtually any time the monstrance, a pagan sun symbol, is viewed by the congregation, they kneel in submission. A Catholic cannot walk past this sun symbol without acknowledging it by kneeling and or making the sign of the cross with their hands.

"Jesus H. Christ" is literally translated ΙΗΣΟUΣ Horas Savior. The monogram for the name "Jesus" is IHS.  This is where we get "Jesus H. Christ".  It is a hidden name and acronym for Isis, Horus, and Seb (IHS).  IHS is derived from the pagan Greek word form Jesus ΙΗΣΟUΣ.  In the pagan religion, Horus was the divine son of Seb and Isis (Father/Holy Spirit).  This is where the false doctrine of the Trinity originated and why the "Virgin Mary" was elevated to Queen of Heaven and Mother of God.  So, the term we use "Jesus H. Christ" in reality H stands for Horas the divine pagan son of Isis.  YHVH was given pagan symbols such as the blazing sun and associated with Appolo the sun god and worshipped on Sunday the day of the Sun God.

MONOGRAMS OF JESUS CHRIST
From the Catholic Encyclopedia

A monogram formed of the initial letters of both Christ's names appears in a Roman monument of the year 268 or 279 as part of the inscription on a tomb: BENEMERENTI (in) (see Monogram e) Domi No. Two Gallic monuments with this monogram, bearing the dates 491 and 597, are noted by Le Blant, and once it occurs on an ancient lamp, in association with the apocalyptic letters A and (See Greek letter 8). In a somewhat different form it occurs in several monuments of the cemetery of St. Callistus: in these the Icrosses the X horizontally instead of perpendicularly (see Monogram f). The IX monogram (for Greek words 6 the table above), also appears on some sarcophagi of Provence enclosed in a circle, thus forming a star: the star that guided the Wise Men to Bethlehem. The monogram IC XC occurs in manuscripts of the Scriptures (the Codex Alexandrinus and the Codex Claromontanus) as early as the fifth and sixth centuries. Peculiar to the Latin Church is the monogram (see Greek word 7), which occurs in the sixth century Greek-Latin Codex Claramontanus, as an abbreviation of both Our Lord's Greek names. The Greeks also employed the letters IH as an abbreviation for the name of Jesus, with a peculiar symbolic meaning. According to the Epistle of pseudo-Barnabas the circumcision by Abraham of 318 men of his household had a mystic signification. The Greek lettersI E T, used as numerals, amount to 318, and at the same time the first two of these letters are abbreviations of the Name of Jesus, while the third represents the cross (Pseudo-Barnabas, c. ix). The meaning was adopted by the Greek Church, and from them it was borrowed by the Latins. The familiar monogram I H S was first popularized by St. Bernardine of Siena in the early fifteenth century and later, with the addition of a cross over the central letter, by the Society of Jesus. (See article I.H.S.).

Jesus H. Christ - IHS - The Christogram

In the Latin-speaking Christianity of medieval Western Europe (and so among Catholics and many Protestants today), the most common Christogram is "IHS" or "IHC", derived from the first three letters of the Greek name of Jesus, iota-eta-sigma or ΙΗΣ. Here the Greek letter eta was transliterated as the letter H in the Latin-speaking West (Greek eta and Latin-alphabet H had the same visual appearance and shared a common historical origin), while the Greek letter sigma was either transliterated as the Latin letter C (due to the visually-similar form of the lunate sigma), or as Latin S (since these letters of the two alphabets wrote the same sound). Because the Latin-alphabet letters I and J were not systematically distinguished until the 17th century, "JHS" and "JHC" are equivalent to "IHS" and "IHC".

"IHS" is sometimes interpreted as meaning Iesus Hominum Salvator ("Jesus, Savior of men", in Latin), or connected with In Hoc Signo. Some uses have even been created for the English language, where "IHS" is interpreted as an abbreviation of "I Have Suffered" or "In His Service". Such interpretations are known as backronyms. This abbreviation ("IHS") is likely the source of the joke that Jesus' full name is "Jesus H. Christ."

One of the oldest Christograms is the Chi-Rho or Labarum. It consists of the superimposed Greek letters Chi Χ; and Rho Ρ, which are the first two letters of christ in Greek. Technically, the word labarum is Latin for a standard with a little flag hanging on it, used in the army. A Christogram was added to the flag as an image of the Greek letters Chi Rho, in the late Roman period. So Christogram and labarum are not originally synonyms.

The most commonly encountered Christogram in English-speaking countries in modern times is the X (or more accurately, Greek letter Chi) in the abbreviation Xmas (for "Christmas"), which represents the first letter of the word Christ.

God has sent an important message with 3 angels. But Satan has sent 3 frogs to intercept the message and deceive the world. Your task is to help the angels send the message   —"As God called the children of Israel out of Egypt, that they might keep His Sabbath, so He calls His people out of Babylon, that they may not worship the beast or his image. The man of sin, who thought to change times and laws, has exalted himself above God, by presenting a spurious sabbath to the world; the child of the papacy, and cradled and nourished it, thus defying God by removing His memorial, and setting up a rival sabbath." Under this very name Berosus, theChaldean Historian, names El-bar second in the list of Babylonian sovereigns. Also in Ninevah he was known under this name. In Egypt he was known as simply Bar. Bar meaning "son"; El meaning "God". In Chaldean this becomes Ala-Bar; Greek becomes Ala-Par.

The 2nd Plague:  Frogs

AnnouncementFrog

Moses was sent back to Pharaoh to announce the 2nd Plague of Frogs.
Exodus 8:1-4, NAS
1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 2 “But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite your whole territory with frogs. 3 “And the Nile will swarm with frogs, which will come up and go into your house and into your bedroom and on your bed, and into the houses of your servants and on your people, and into your ovens and into your kneading bowls. 4 “So the frogs will come up on you and your people and all your servants.”’”

2nd Egyptian plague of frogs in bed
The frogs were the small Nile frog, called Dofda in Egyptian - also called rana Mosaica, or Nilotica.3   Frogs symbolize the croaking of politicians of Political Babylon.  Frog demons will come out of the mouths (for communication) of Satan, the Beast, and False Prophet of the Tribulation to gather the nations to the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:13-14).  Thus, the Plague of the Frogs represents the judgment of Political Babylon.  The great Egyptian Empire was judged as a part of Political Babylon of the Cosmic System.

The Plague

At the appointed time, the Lord directed Moses to give the order to Aaron to stretch out his hand and the staff over the waters of Egypt, and the plague of frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.
Exodus 8:5-6, NAS
5 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff over the rivers, over the streams and over the pools, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt.’” 6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.
The frogs were a severe pestilence upon the land of Egypt and a sign of God's judgment of Political Babylon.

Magicians Copy the Miracle

Since demons have power over animals, it is not too surprising that the magicians were able to duplicate the miracle of the frogs.  They were, however, unable to make the frogs go away.  Here the Angelic Conflict can be seen, for the Plagues of Egypt were supernatural acts that were implemented by the Elect Angels.  This is explained during the description of the Plagues of Egypt in Psalm 78.
He let loose upon them His burning anger,
Wrath, fury, and distress,
A company of angels of destruction. (Psalm 78:49)
The "company of angels of destruction" were the Elect Angels tasked with implementation of the Plagues of Egypt.
And the magicians did the same with their secret arts, making frogs come up on the land of Egypt. (Exodus 8:7 NAS)
When the angels of God brought out the masses of frogs, the magicians with the help of demons were able to bring frogs also; but they were apparently not successful in sending them away.

The End of the Plague of Frogs

So Pharaoh appealed to Moses and Aaron to remove the frogs and he would agree to let the nation of Israel go and sacrifice to the Lord.
Exodus 8:8-15
8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said, “Entreat the Lord that He remove the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the Lord.” 9 And Moses said to Pharaoh, “The honor is yours to tell me: when shall I entreat for you and your servants and your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, that they may be left only in the Nile?”
10 Then he said, “Tomorrow.” So he said, “May it be according to your word, that you may know that there is no one like the Lord our God. 11 “And the frogs will depart from you and your houses and your servants and your people; they will be left only in the Nile.” 12 Then Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to the Lord concerning the frogs which He had inflicted upon Pharaoh. 13 And the Lord did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, the courts, and the fields. 14 So they piled them in heaps, and the land became foul. 15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.
When Pharaoh indicated that he would agree to the demands of Moses, Moses let him choose the time for the removal of the frogs.  Pharaoh picked the next day.  He obviously thought the task was too difficult to perform the same day.  When Moses interceded, the Plague of Frogs was removed.  The frogs died.  The Egyptians piled them up.  The phrase, "in heaps," in verse 14 is literally omers of omers.  Since an omer is 5.1 pints and omers (plural) would be at least 10.2 pints, then omers of omers would be 10.2 X 10.2 = 104 pints = 1.5 bushels.  So "in bushels" would be a better translation for "in heaps."

The stench of decaying frogs was foul.  But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief from pressure, he hardened his heart again.  The word for relief is rewachah in the Hebrew, which means relief from pressure.  The word in the Septuagint is anapsuxis, which means breathing space.  Thus, the phrase means as soon as Pharaoh could catch his breath, or had breathing room, he hardened his heart.  The word for hardened here, as in Exodus 7:14, is chabedh, which means hard in the sense of refusing to budge.  Thus, Pharaoh is only influenced by punishment.  He will lie to get relief.

Hag

Hag originally meant a "Holy Woman," coming from the cognate of the Egyptian heq, a predynastic matriarchal ruler who knew the words of power, or hekau. In Greek she was personified as Hecate, the Crone aspect of the Goddess or Hag as queen of the dead, incarnate on earth as selected wise-women, or high priestesses.

Throughout ancient, northern Europe the Hag, denoting the goddess of death, was worshipped with veneration. She was seen in the Hag of the Iron Wood whose daughter or virgin form was Hel. In Old Norse hagi meant to chop in pieces, which is what happened to sacrificial victims dismembered for a feast. Perhaps "Hags" were priestesses who offered sacrifice, like the Scythian matriarchs who butchered for their sacred cauldrons and read omens in entrails. Since the Northmen colonized Scotland the dish of haggis, or "hag's dish" was made of internal organs. Until the 19th century, the New Years festival of Hagmena, or Hag's Moon, was observed. It was when people went from house to house begging cakes. A portion of the festival was chronicled, "On the last night of the old year (peculiarly called hagmenai) visitors and company made a point of not separating till after the clock struck twelve, when they rose, and mutually kissing, wished each other a happy New Year."

This custom continued until a contemporary clergyman declared the Hagmena meant the Devil was in the house. Like most customs that were attached to the Goddess and Goddess religion, as can be seen, this one was also demonized. There generated many unbecoming tales associated with hags and witch-hags; most were degrading to women to enhance patriarchal rule. Hags were associated with succubi that cause nightmares when sitting on the person's chest to "ride" him to exhaustion or even death. To safeguard against this was to place a penknife on one's breast or a table fork under one's head. Along with this witch-hags were believed to steal horse from stables and return them sweaty and exhausted after having ridden them all night. To prevent this amulets and charms were hung in stables.

Even though intelligent persons know such tales were mostly based upon Pagan trinity god worship the term hag is no longer becoming when applied to any woman. Due to such tales it has became an uncomplimentary term taking on the stereotype of an ugly, disagreeable woman. A.G.H.

People keep forgetting that the trinity comes from Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Rome and then
the Roman Catholic Church. How can this be ignored?

My cousin said: "I have called SDA headquarters and am forming a campaign to remove the word Trinity from the fundamental beliefs and use Ellen Whites term "the Godhead" in its place and exclude the 1 John 5 texts and give a better Biblical explanation of the Godhead."

Removing the word "trinity" from the fundamental beliefs won't make the false concept of the trinity disappear. That won't suddenly make people believe in the only true God according to Jesus' testimony (John 17:3). Removing the word "trinity" and replacing it with "Godhead" won't make people believe that the counsel of peace is between only the Father and the Son (Zech. 6:13). He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son (2 John 1:9). "If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed." (2 John 1:10)

Like James White said, there are many things about the "trinity concept" that are wrong, but the main two that always come to my mind, is that we are denying Jesus by not believing that as stated in John 3:16 that he was SENT by God = GOD had to have a Son TO GIVE, prior to Bethlehem, prior to the creation of this world. This is what the "trinity" of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit - 3 god philosophical intellectual concept of God denies...it denies this because Jesus was begotten, at some point in time DID have a origin or beginning, God the Father did not. HE was always present - without beginning or origin. So the Father IS greater in that He is OLDER in AGE than the Son. Jesus says, my Father is greater - SDA says they are "equal" from eternity - Christ tells us that He was SETUP and Given authority - modern adventism says that all three gods are equal and just role playing. The Bible always talks about TWO beings, BOTH.

We deny our Saviour by denying that he was born, is the firstborn of Heaven, by believing in the 3 god concept. We also deny Him by this doctrine because this doctrine denies that Christ completely DIED for us. The 3 god concept says that a part of Christ stayed alive - and did not die. The Bible says in over 31 places that God the Father raised Him from the dead. Dead is dead and I choose to believe the Bible. If we deny that Christ died for us by believing in the 3 god doctrine, how can we be saved?

Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

Luke 12:9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

I will send you answers to the question about the church never being called Babylon - later. Everything is conditional upon what? Obedience to the Word of God..... What exactly is Babylon? That is the real question.
