Come Out of Her My People

In the end because I believe Jesus is the Son of God none of my arguments would have mattered too much to the people. Whether I was treated fairly or not was irrelevant to the Church as I have denied doctrines 2, 4 and 5. “The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.”(John 19:7) Or “The Church answered saying, “We have a creed, and according to our creed he ought to be disfellowshipped, because he said Jesus was the Son of God.”

The first step of apostasy is to get up a creed, telling us what we shall believe. The second is, to make that creed a test of fellowship. The third is to try members by that creed. The fourth to denounce as heretics those who do not believe that creed. And, fifth, to commence persecution against such. I plead that we are not patterning after the churches in any unwarrantable sense, in the step proposed. {October 8, 1861 J. N. Loughborough ARSH 149.7}

"The creed system is now exerting upon the clergy of the Protestant churches a secret, unsuspected, but tremendous power against the Bible—a power of fear. Yes, while it professes to venerate and defend the Bible, it is virtually undermining it." (By J. N. Loughborough, Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, January 15&22, 1861.)

I have been faithful and brought the knowledge of God’s Son to my Church. It is there for anyone who wishes to understand but for those who choose to deny Jesus is the Son of God I can only feel sorry that on judgment day God will have to ask “who told you Jesus wasn’t my Son?” If they had only realized: “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”(1 John 5:5)

"When the world is at last brought up for trial before the great white throne, to account for its rejection of Jesus Christ, God's own messenger to our world, what a solemn scene it will be! What a reckoning will have to be made for nailing to the cross One who came to our world as a living epistle of the law. God will ask each one the question, What have you done with my only begotten Son? What will those answer who have refused to accept the truth?-- They will be obliged to say, We hated Jesus, and cast him out. We cried, Crucify him, crucify him. We chose Barabbas in his stead. If those to whom the light of heaven is presented reject it, they reject Christ. They reject the only provision whereby they may be cleansed from pollution. They crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. To them it will be said, "I never knew you: depart from me." God will assuredly avenge the death of his Son." {RH, January 30, 1900 par. 11}

Jesus Himself said in John 16:2 & 3:

They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. 3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

They have "put you out of the synagogue" because the tragedy is that they do not know the Father or His Son. Instead, they worship a strange Trinity god like the "nations"/churches around them.

Just remember that although we believe the Seventh-Day Adventist church is God's true church, there is nothing in scripture that says that membership is a pre-requisite for heaven. The only pre-requisite I know is acceptance by faith of the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

"Rebuke not an elder [a man older than yourself], but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren..." {SpTA03 15}

"Many of the wicked were greatly enraged as they suffered the effects of the plagues. It was a scene of fearful agony. Parents were bitterly reproaching their children, and children their parents, brothers their sisters, and sisters their brothers. Loud, wailing cries were heard in every direction, "It was you who kept me from receiving the truth which would have saved me from this awful hour." The people turned upon their ministers with bitter hate and reproached them, saying, "You have not warned us. You told us that all the world was to be converted, and cried, Peace, peace, to quiet every fear that was aroused. You have not told us of this hour; and those who warned us of it you declared to be fanatics and evil men, who would ruin us." But I saw that the ministers did not escape the wrath of God. Their suffering was tenfold greater than that of their people." EW 281-282

So the question is: Will you believe these lies spoken by the corrupt church leadership in the hopes of keeping you bound to an apostate church which is heading for destruction?  Or will you follow Christ out of the church realizing that He is nowhere to be found in her midst, but is waiting outside the gate and loudly calling all of His true followers to come and join Him! (see Hebrews 13:12-13; Isaiah 52:11; Revelation 18:4).  The choice is yours to make.

The passages listed on this page are from your God. Do you really see His Word saying you should stay in an apostate church? Do these passages really contradict His end time Prophet?
