The Day Camp Program is what we know now as our "Summer Day Camp," a camp for children ages 5-21 with mild to moderate physical, developmental or mental disabilities.

We offer a complete program of adaptive activities including sports, music and drama, arts and crafts, water games, nature and outdoor adventure, and much more.

The Day Camp is staffed with teachers, occupational and physical therapists, speech language pathologists, and college students pursuing a career in healthcare or education. These men and women are highly specialized in pediatrics and offer a safe, controlled play environment with a high staff to camper ratio.

Our goal is to maximize each child’s abilities through specially designed activities. Staff members are dedicated to make each summer an enjoyable experience full of new accomplishments.

The Day Camp is offered three weeks in June and three weeks in July.

We completed our 17th summer in 2015 and have served thousands of special needs individuals. Once we are in our new facility, we will be able to increase our enrollment per week from a current maximum of 35 to over 200 participants. With a waiting list this past year of over 150 individuals, the need to provide these services is ever-growing.

The Respite Program is also part of the Day Camp Program.
Respite opportunities consist of bimonthly events for our families to be able to depend on for childcare. These fun one-day events include pizza and movie nights, Spring Fling, Christmas Camp, Saturday Camp, and other fun active days.
