Di lives in Southern California with her husband Bob, and their 2 Dalmatians. She has lived in California since 2001 but was born and raised in England. When she first arrived in the USA and saw all the scrapbooking supplies in the craft stores, she firmly stated that she "could never get into all that"! In 2003 after taking many, many photographs of family vacations and their new life in the states, she walked into that same store, bought some supplies, and has been hooked ever since.
Di did her first digital scrapbooking layout as part of an online National Scrapbook Day challenge. She enjoyed the freedom that digital gave her, and discovered that she was already in fact a hybrid scrapbooker as she's been using her computer in her paper layouts since she started. Her favorite style is clean and simple with focus on the photograph, but she doesn't limit her own style as she continually challenges herself to try new styles, techniques and mediums.
In 2005 she had her first project requested for publication in CorrespondenceART magazine. She has since enjoyed publishing success with PaperART, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbook Dimensions and Scrapbook & Cards today. She is currently serving on both paper and digital design teams, she is a columnist for Scrapstreet.com Ezine and also designs for 2 manufacturers. Di has recently started digital designing and will be offering a range of digital products including kits and her already successful kick-start templates.
Outside of scrapbooking Di and her husband enjoy trailriding on dirtbikes in the Southern California hills. Although she's only been riding since December 2006 Di has really taken to it with a passion and is already doing intermediate/difficult trails. Her antics can be found on her blog, with tails of bikes, bruises and all things scrapbook related.
