Homeschool + Anyone Makers
Makers workshops revolve around a craft or a skill. Examples are provided, vocabulary is explained, and then students can freely explore the materials. They can follow the examples, make up new ideas, and collaborate with other students. Projects can be taken home.
The curriculum is designed for students in grades 1-5, but *all* ages and skill levels are welcome to participate. Students are asked to be creative and open to advice and to consider collaboration.
Parents and guardians are welcome to drop off their children for workshops. They are encouraged to stay and work with their children or alongside their children on their own projects as participants.
Makers workshops are offered on a monthly basis. Each month has one topic offered on a consecutive Monday and Tuesday mornings to suit homeschoolers’ active schedules. In addition, there is a Monday evening class open to anyone, all ages.
