We are pleased to announce that our guest presenter will be Thomas Fine, son of the original producer and engineer of many legendary Mercury Records recordings. Mr. Fine will speak about the technical history of Mercury Records. Meeting will held in Stamford, CT.
Our annual Holiday meeting where we will review vintage gear and hold an auction to raise money for charities. We will also elect our Board members for 2016. Meeting to be held in Killingworth, CT.
As a follow-up to the Summer BBQ speaker shoot-out, we will be listening to several additional modern speaker designs that were not included in the shootout. Meeting Location Fairfield, CT.

Member Justus Verhagen will speak to the group about multi-channel music reproduction and demo a high quality multi-channel system. In addition, member Joe Yacobucci will show his newly developed approach for adjusting USB cables to significantly open up the sound stage. Meeting will be held in Killingworth, CT.
On April 11 we will hold a themed listening session of materials covered in a different genre that they were originally performed. The event will be held in Stamford, CT.
Our fourth annual Audio Quiz Bowl will take place in Greenwich, CT. Here, member teams get to dazzle each other with their audio brilliance in a game show setting. Topics range from industry facts and history, to artists and music, to electronics and audio science. A lot of fun, as always.
Our annual CAS Holiday Party and Meeting featuring guest speaker Merrill Wettasinghe, Chief Music Officer and Owner of Merrill Audio. This meeting will offer an excellent opportunity to learn about developing, testing and voicing audio equipment. It will also provide a chance to chat with other members and share in a Holiday spread. At our business meeting, we will elect the CAS Board for 2015 and collect our annual $35 member dues. We will also hold our annual fund-raiser for charities and grant the famous Sub-Woofer Award to a member who contributed above and beyond to the club's success in 2014. CAS member John Mathewson will showcase the Caitlin LSA-1 Preamp that he designed. This preamp employs a novel technique for controlling optocouplers as a line stage. John will speak about his design approach and the many DIY discoveries made along the way. Meeting Location: West Hartford, CT.
