Spiced Corn on the Cob

Serves 4



4 ears fresh corn on the cob

4 tbsp. butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper



Place corn in a Dutch oven or large, wide pot; cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 5 minutes, or until tender.


Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the melted butter, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Drain the corn. Transfer to plates and brush with seasoned butter mixture.
