he Chicago Blue Aces is a Blues band led by Chicago's blues guitarist Shoji Naito. The Chicago Blue Aces is looking to be the best backing band for traditional style blues artists.  
The band is named after the greatest blues band “the Aces,” l
ed by the guitarist brothers Louis and Dave Myers, and drummer Fred Below. The Chicago Blue Aces is capable of backing up any traditional style blues artist just like “the Aces” did with Little Walter and Jr. Wells.

Shoji Naito : Blues Guitarist. Also plays harmonica and bass.  Born in Japan. After moving to Chicago in 1996, he has played with a number of traditional style blues bands such as John Primer band, Rob Stone and the C-Notes, and Carl Davis Band while studying music at Columbia College Chicago. 

In 2004, Shoji became a member of Legendary “Eddy Clearwater Blues Band.”  With Eddy Clearwater band, Shoji has performed all over the world including France, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Denmark and Finland.

His Original song “Otis' Groove” can be heard on Eddy’s latest DVD "Live In France At Jazz à Junas 2011" by Alligator Records.

He also is a regular member of one of Chicago’s finest traditional blues band “Morry Sochat & the Special 20s.”  Shoji’s guitar can be heard on their two latest albums “EATIN' DIRT,” and “SWINGIN' SHUFFLIN' SMOKIN'.”
