The California Color Guard Circuit

The California Color Guard Circuit was established in 1964 with the objective "to promote color guard contests, thereby perpetuating pageantry and effectiveness of the member units".

2017 will mark the 54th season of competition for the Circuit. The C.C.G.C. has grown from the six charter units; Sacramento Capitolaires, Stockton Police Cadets, Raleys Raiders, Richmond Hawks, Praetorians and the Rhythmettes, to a circuit of 50 Color Guard units competing in 9 different classifications and 25 percussion units in 8 different classifications.

The C.C.G.C. has been the circuit of 29 World Champions, 50 WGI medalists and 120 WGI finalists. The California Color Guard Circuit is truly, The Circuit of Champions.
