The Cat Caretakers is run by Nicole & Sean, a married couple, with a huge love for all animals, especially cats. Nicole was raised in a family of animal lovers, with a menagerie of cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, budgies and even adopted baby pigeons. As soon as Nicole had her own home she persuaded Sean that a house was not a home without a kitty or two. That was in 1986 and ever since they have never been without a cat or two ( and a few other animals ). The first time Nicole saw Sean cry was when their cat died & he has been animal mad ever since. Friends & family jokingly refer to Nicole as the mad cat lady ! Sean & Nicole decided to set up a cat caretaker operation when they had problems with cover for their own animals & realised that there was a demand for this service. It is so important & comforting knowing that your beloved pets are being looked after by someone who will care for them as you would yourself so that you can truly relax & enjoy your well earned holiday to the full.

It would be a privilege for us to visit your feline friends whilst you are away. Before you decide that you want us to be their caretakers one of us will arrange to visit you in your home so that you can get to know us as well as introduce us to your beloved pet. There is no obligation & you can decide at your leisure if you would like to book us in. We will visit as many times as you would like ( between the hours of 730am & 730pm ). We charge £11 for 1 visit per day, £20 for 2 visits per day & £29 for 3 visits per day. Maximum 3 cats, but we are happy to discuss extra cost for additional numbers. We will feed, water, cuddle and ensure all is well. Changing cat litter trays if needed is included. Whilst we are there we are also happy to feed fish, bring mail/deliveries in, turn lights on & off, open & close curtains. If you would like us to water indoor or outdoor plants there is an extra charge of £2 per visit. We will take photos / videos of your pets on each visit and will upload to our Instagram stories daily ( or privately whatsap these to you if you prefer ). Your keys will be kept under lock & key at all times , coded for extra security.
