These are some pictures from the mission trips manned by volunteers from across the United States over the past five years. Although the Boscovet Project started out primarily as a veterinary assistance and animal husbandry outreach of Christian Veterinary Mission, it has now blossomed into several distinct initiatives to meet the various needs of these hard working families. Also pictured are some of the orphans and children from single parent families who are in need of sponsorship. For only $20 a month you can supply this child with a Christian education, school books and supplies, a mid day meal, a simple uniform and a new pair of shoes. Make a difference and click the Paypal button and specify which child you would like to sponsor. In return you will receive 3 letters a year and their undying gratitude and friendship. 100% of the proceeds will go towards their educational expenses. Plus the uniforms are being sewed by a Boscovet member financed through a micro-finance loan.
Why you should consider supporting the Boscovet Project
The Boscovet Project is a Christian non profit organization that was incorporated in 2012 and granted tax exempt status by the IRS in 2013. Our mission is to support, encourage, and empower poverty stricken families who live and farm in the small villages near Kisii in western Kenya. Although we primarily partner with the Bosongo Community and Veterinary Agri-Project in Kisii, we also are associated with the Heidelberg Christian Community and Medical Centre which manages the well drilling aspects of our project.
The young man pictured above is Patrick Marwa, a 4 year boy attending the Boscovet Hope Academy. His mother, Linet, is the head if a single parent household. He is one of 30 children who are either orphans or children of single parents for which we are seeking sponsors. For $20 per month you can supply a child like Patrick with books and school supplies, a nutritious mid day meal, a simple uniform, and a pair of shoes.
