To All IBEW Local 1260 Members: First of all I would like to congratulate and thank all the candidates in the 2011 elections for our union. Your participation in the election process has been one that we all should be proud of.
Next I would like to thank the membership for electing me as your new Business Manager/Financial Secretary of Local 1260. The many phone calls and messages, emails and congratulations shared by all of you have been very heart warming and I thank you all.
I hearby solemnly pledge, that I will faithfully discharge my duties as the Business Manager/Financial Secretary of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1260. I will continue to follow the Constitution and Bylaws of the IBEW and serve as your Leader in the best interest of our union.
We have alot of work ahead of us, and I believe with you as the membership and myself and my staff leading the way, we will change the direction of our union and begin to prosper and grow as one Unified Group of Members.
I ask all of you to get active with the union. Sign up for committees, get involved. It will only make our union stronger. I will be rolling out new programs, and new innovative ideas that I believe we all will be excited to be apart of.
Remember, lets support one another. Help our fellow member when they are down. Support each Unit in the Brotherhood so we can all stand together and continue to move toward one Strong Voice in the Labor Movement.
